27:1  Ta.Sin. Those are the signs of the Quran and a clear Book;
27:2  Guidance and glad tidings for the believers,
27:3  Those who are steadfast in the prayer, and give the alms, and they, of the hereafter, they, they are sure.
27:4  Indeed, those who do not believe in the hereafter, We have beautified their works for them, so they, they wander about.
27:5  Those are the ones who for them is the evil of punishment and they, in the hereafter, they are the ones who lose most.
27:6  And indeed you, you surely receive the Quran from one wise, knowing.
27:7  When Moses said to his family, 'Indeed, I have perceived a fire, soon I will come to you from it with news or I will come to you with a firebrand, a flame, perhaps you may warm yourselves.'
27:8  Then when he came to it, he was called saying, 'Blessed is who is in the fire and who is around it, and glory be to God, the Lord of the worlds.
27:9  O Moses! Indeed He, I am God, the Mighty, the Wise.
27:10  And throw down your staff.' Then when he saw it quivering, as if it were a snake, he turned back, retreating, and did not return. 'O Moses! Do not fear; indeed I, the messengers do not fear in My presence;
27:11  Except one who did wrong then substituted good after evil, then indeed, I am forgiving, compassionate.
27:12  And insert your hand in your bosom, it will come forth white without evil, among nine signs to Pharaoh and his people; indeed, they are disobedient people.'
27:13  Then when Our signs to see came to them, they said, 'This is clear magic.'
27:14  And they denied them, and their souls were certain of them, injustice and exaltedness; so see how the end of the evil-doers was.
27:15  And surely, certainly We gave David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, 'Praise be to God, the one who gave preference to us over many of His servants, the believers.'
27:16  And Solomon was heir to David, and he said, 'O people! We have been taught the speech of the birds, and we have been given of everything; indeed this, surely it is the clear grace.'
27:17  And assembled for Solomon were his armies of the jinn and mankind and the birds; then they were marshalled;
27:18  Until when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, 'O ants! Enter your dwellings, definitely do not let Solomon and his armies crush you while they do not perceive.'
27:19  And he smiled, laughing at her speech, and he said, 'My Lord! Enable me that I may be thankful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents; and that I may do right which will please You; and make me enter, by Your mercy, among Your servants, the righteous ones.'
27:20  And he surveyed the birds, then he said, 'What ails me, I do not see the hoopoe? Or is he among the absent?
27:21  Surely, I will definitely punish him, a severe punishment, or surely, I will definitely slaughter him or surely he will definitely come to me with clear authority.'
27:22  Then he stayed not long, then he said, 'I have encompassed what you did not encompass; and I came from Saba to you with sure news.
27:23  Indeed I, I found a woman ruling them, and she has been given of everything, and she has a great throne.
27:24  And I found her and her people prostrating to the sun other than God, and the devil beautified their works for them, then he hindered them from the way, so they are not guided.
27:25  That they do not prostrate to God, the one who brings forth the hidden thing in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you publish.
27:26  God, there is no god but He, the Lord of the great throne.'
27:27  He said, 'Soon we will see whether you spoke truth or you were among the liars.
27:28  Go with this my letter and throw it to them, then turn away from them, then see what they return.'
27:29  She said, 'O chiefs! Indeed I, a noble letter has been thrown to me.
27:30  Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed it is, "In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.”
27:31  Saying, “Do not exalt yourselves against me, and come to me submitters."'
27:32  She said, 'O chiefs! Counsel me in my affair. I decide not an affair until you are present with me.'
27:33  They said, 'We are possessors of strength and possessors of strong valour, and the command is up to you; so see what you will command.'
27:34  She said, 'Indeed, the kings when they enter a town, they ruin it and make mighty ones of its people lowly, and thus they do.
27:35  And indeed, I will send a gift to them, then see what the messengers return with.'
27:36  Then when he came to Solomon, he said, 'Will you provide me with wealth? Then what God gave me is better than what He gave you. Nay, you rejoice in your gift.
27:37  Return to them, then we will surely, definitely come to them with armies which they have no power over; and surely, we will definitely drive them out of it lowly and they will be as little ones.'
27:38  He said, 'O chiefs! Which of you will come to me with her throne before that they come to me submitters?'
27:39  An ifrit of the jinn said, 'I will come to you with it before you rise from your station, and indeed, I am surely strong, trustworthy for it.'
27:40  One who with him was knowledge of the Book said, 'I will come to you with it before that your glance returns to you.' Then when he saw it settled before him, he said, 'This is of the grace of my Lord that He may test me whether I am thankful or I am ungrateful; and whoever is thankful, then he is only thankful for his soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then indeed, my Lord is free of need, noble.'
27:41  He said, 'Disguise her throne for her, we will see whether she will be guided, or she will be among those who will not be guided.'
27:42  Then when she came, it was said, 'Is your throne thus?' She said, 'As if it were it;' And we were given the knowledge before her, and we were submitters,
27:43  And what she used to serve besides God hindered her; indeed, she was among the disbelieving people.
27:44  It was said to her, 'Enter the palace;' then when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and she uncovered her two shanks. He said, 'Indeed, it is a palace made smooth of glass.' She said, 'My Lord! Indeed, I have wronged my soul and I submit with Solomon to God, the Lord of the worlds.'
27:45  And surely, certainly We sent to Thamud their brother Salih saying, 'Serve God;' then behold, they were two parties disputing.
27:46  He said, 'O my people! Why do you seek to hasten the evil before the good? If only you would seek God’s forgiveness, perhaps you may obtain mercy.'
27:47  They said, 'We regard you and whoever is with you as an evil omen.' He said, 'Your omen is with God; nay, you are people being tried.'
27:48  And there were in the city nine, a group, they were working corruption in the earth, and they were not reforming.
27:49  They said, 'Swear by God, surely we will definitely contrive an evil plan against him and his family; then we will surely, definitely say to his relative, "We witnessed not the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are surely truthful."'
27:50  And they plotted a plot and We plotted a plot. And they do not perceive.
27:51  So see how the end of their plot was, that We, We destroyed them and their people all together.
27:52  So those are their houses fallen down, because they did wrong; indeed, in that surely is a sign for people who know.
27:53  And We saved those who believed and used to fear.
27:54  And Lot when he said to his people, 'Do you commit the immorality while you, you see?
27:55  Do you indeed, surely come to the men with desire other than the women? Nay, you are people who are ignorant.'
27:56  And the answer of his people was not except that they said, 'Drive out the family of Lot from your town. Indeed, they are people who purify themselves.'
27:57  Then We saved him and his family except his wife, We destined her among those who tarry.
27:58  And We caused a rain to rain upon them, then evil was the rain of those who were warned.
27:59  Say, 'Praise be to God; and peace be upon His servants, those whom He chose.’ Is God better or what they associate?
27:60  Or who created the heavens and the earth; and sent down water for you from the heaven, then with it We made to grow gardens, a possessor of beauty? It was not for you to make their trees grow. Is there a god with God? Nay, they are people who equalize.
27:61  Or who made the earth a resting-place; and made rivers in its midst; and made firm mountains for it; and made a barrier between the two seas? Is there a god with God? Nay, most of them do not know.
27:62  Or who responds to the needy when he calls upon Him and removes the evil; and makes you vicegerents in the earth? Is there a god with God? Little is what you remember.
27:63  Or who guides you in the darknesses of the land and the sea; and who sends the winds, glad tidings before His mercy? Is there a god with God? Exalted is God from what they associate.
27:64  Or who originates the creation then repeats it; and who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Is there a god with God? Say, 'Bring your proof, if you are truthful.'
27:65  Say, 'None who is in the heavens and the earth know the unseen except God; and they do not perceive when they will be raised.'
27:66  Nay, their knowledge has reached in the hereafter; nay, they are in doubt of it. Nay, they are of it blind.
27:67  And those who disbelieved said, 'When we become dust and our forefathers? Will we indeed, surely be brought forth?
27:68  Surely, certainly, we have been promised this, we and our forefathers before. This is not except legends of the former people.'
27:69  Say, 'Travel in the earth, then see how the end of the sinners was.'
27:70  And do not grieve for them, and do not be in distress at what they plot.
27:71  And they say, 'When is this, the promise, if you are truthful?'
27:72  Say, 'It may be that some of that which you seek to hasten is coming behind you.'
27:73  And indeed, your Lord is surely a possessor of grace upon mankind, but most of them do not give thanks.
27:74  And indeed, your Lord surely He knows what their breasts conceal and what they publish.
27:75  And there is no unseen thing in the heaven and the earth, except in a clear Book.
27:76  Indeed this, the Quran, narrates to the children of Israel most of that concerning which they disagree;
27:77  And indeed, it is surely guidance and mercy for the believers.
27:78  Indeed, your Lord will decide between them with His judgment; and He is the Mighty, the Knowing.
27:79  So rely on God, indeed, you are on the clear truth.
27:80  Indeed, you cannot make the dead hear, and you cannot make the deaf hear the call when they turn back, retreating;
27:81  And you will not guide the blind from their error; you cannot make hear except one who believes in Our signs, so they are submitters.
27:82  And when the speech befalls them, We will bring forth a creature of the earth for them to speak to them that mankind was, of Our signs, not sure.
27:83  And on the day We will gather from every nation a troop of whoever calls Our signs lies, then they will be marshalled,
27:84  Until when they come, He will say, 'You called My signs lies and you did not encompass knowledge of them? Or what were you doing?'
27:85  And the speech will befall them because they did wrong, then they will not speak.
27:86  Did they not see that We, We made the night that they may rest in it and the day to see? Indeed, in that surely are signs for people who believe.
27:87  And on the day the horn will be blown in, then whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth will be terrified, except whom God wills. And all will come to Him contemptible.
27:88  And you will see the mountains, they think them solid, while they will pass, the passing of the cloud; the work of God, the one who perfected everything; indeed, He is aware of what you do.
27:89  Whoever comes with the good, then for him will be better than it; and they will be safe from terror on that day.
27:90  And whoever comes with the evil, then their faces will be thrown prostrate in the fire. Shall you be recompensed except for what you used to do?
27:91  I have only been commanded to serve the Lord of this, the country, the one who declared it sacred, and for Him is everything; and I have been commanded to be among the submitters,
27:92  And to recite the Quran. So whoever is guided, then he is only guided for his soul; and whoever went astray, then say, 'I am only among the warners.'
27:93  And say, 'Praise be to God, soon He will show you His signs, then you will recognise them; and your Lord is not heedless of what you do.'
