74:1  O you Enrobed one
74:2  Arise and warn
74:3  And magnify your Lord
74:4  And purify your clothes
74:5  And abandon abominations
74:6  And show no favor seeking gain
74:7  And be constant for your Lord
74:8  When the Trumpet is blown
74:9  That Day will be a difficult day
74:10  For the disbelievers—not easy
74:11  Leave Me to him whom I created alone
74:12  And gave him vast wealth
74:13  And children as witnesses
74:14  And smoothed things for him
74:15  Then he wants Me to add yet more
74:16  By no means! He was stubborn towards Our revelations
74:17  I will exhaust him increasingly
74:18  He thought and analyzed
74:19  May he perish, how he analyzed
74:20  Again: may he perish, how he analyzed
74:21  Then he looked
74:22  Then he frowned and whined
74:23  Then he turned back and was proud
74:24  And said, 'This is nothing but magic from the past
74:25  This is nothing but the word of a mortal.'
74:26  I will roast him in Saqar
74:27  But what will explain to you what Saqar is
74:28  It neither leaves, nor spares
74:29  It scorches the flesh
74:30  Over it are Nineteen
74:31  We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire, and caused their number to be a stumbling block for those who disbelieve; so that those given the Scripture may attain certainty; and those who believe may increase in faith; and those given the Scripture and the believers may not doubt; and those in whose hearts is sickness and the unbelievers may say, 'What did God intend by this parable?' Thus God leads astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. None knows the soldiers of your Lord except He. This is nothing but a reminder for the mortals
74:32  Nay! By the moon
74:33  And the night as it retreats
74:34  And the morning as it lights up
74:35  It is one of the greatest
74:36  A warning to the mortals
74:37  To whomever among you wishes to advance, or regress
74:38  Every soul is hostage to what it has earned
74:39  Except for those on the Right
74:40  In Gardens, inquiring
74:41  About the guilty
74:42  'What drove you into Saqar?'
74:43  They will say, 'We were not of those who prayed
74:44  Nor did we feed the destitute
74:45  And we used to indulge with those who indulge
74:46  And we used to deny the Day of Judgment
74:47  Until the Inevitable came upon us.'
74:48  But the intercession of intercessors will not help them.
74:49  Why are they turning away from the Reminder
74:50  As though they were panicked donkeys
74:51  Fleeing from a lion
74:52  Yet every one of them desires to be given scrolls unrolled
74:53  No indeed! But they do not fear the Hereafter
74:54  Nevertheless, it is a reminder
74:55  So whoever wills, shall remember it
74:56  But they will not remember, unless God wills. He is the Source of Righteousness, and the Source of Forgiveness
