35:1  All praise is due to Allâh, the Master Architect of the heavens and the earth, Who appoints the Angels to be Messengers having wings, two, or three, or four. He increases in creation whatsoever He wills. Indeed, Allâh is Most Capable of doing whatsoever He desires.
35:2  Whatever Mercy Allâh opens up to mankind, none can withhold it. And whatever He withholds, none can release it after Him: And He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.
35:3  O’ mankind, remember the grace of Allâh upon you! Is there any creator other than Allâh who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? There is no other god beside Him. How can you then be deceived (into going away from the Faith)?
35:4  And if it happens that they are inclined to deny you, (then you'll need to know that) other Messengers have been denied before you. And to Allâh all matters are returned.
35:5  O’ mankind, the Promise of Allâh is definitely true. So don’t let this worldly life deceive you, nor let the Arch deceiver - (Satan) - deceive you concerning Allâh.
35:6  The devil is definitely your enemy. So treat him as your enemy. He only invites his party to be the Denizens of the Blazing Fire.
35:7  For those who are inclined to deny the Truth awaits a severe Penalty. But for those who live by Faith and strives to do righteous acts, await Forgiveness and an extraordinary Reward.
35:8  What! Is the one whose evil deeds are made to seem fair to him (like the one who lives before the Face of Allâh)? Allâh verily lets whomever He wills go astray, and guides aright whomever He wills. Don’t allow yourself to be wasted in regrets for them. Most certainly Allâh has full knowledge of whatsoever they do.
35:9  And Allâh is the One Who unleashes the winds which they stir up clouds. Then We drive them to a dead land and therewith revive the earth after it has fallen lifeless. Such will be the resurrection.
35:10  And whoever seeks sublimity (let him know that) all sublimity belongs to Allâh. To Him, the highly pleasant words (of the monotheistic believer), do ascend, while He elevates (his) righteous deeds. But those who devise evil deeds will be subjected to a severe chastisement. And their schemes will be nullified.
35:11  And Allâh created you from dust, then from a semen-drop, then He made you pairs, (male & female). No female conceives or gives birth except with His knowledge. No aged person is given a length of life, nor is aught lessened of his life, but it is all in a book. Most certainly this is easy for Allâh.
35:12  And the two seas are not alike: one is fresh, sweet and pleasant to drink, whereas the other is salty and bitter. Yet from both you eat fresh tender meat and extract ornaments for you to wear. You see the ships cleaving through it so that you may seek of His bounty and show gratitude (to Allâh for His endless blessings).
35:13  He causes the night to pass into the day and He causes the day to pass into the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each of them running to an appointed term. This is Allâh, your Lord. His is the Supreme Authority. Those whom you call upon, other than him, possess nothing not even a membrane of a date-seed.
35:14  And if happens that you call upon them, they cannot hear your supplication. Even if they were to hear, they would not be able to respond to you. On the Day of Resurrection, they will disown association with you. None is capable of informing you like Him Who is All-Aware.
35:15  O’ mankind, it is you who are in need of Allâh. Lo! Allâh is the Self-Sufficient, Worthy of all praise.
35:16  And if He wills, He can (easily) make you vanish (completely) and bring forth a new creation.
35:17  This is not too arduous task for Allâh.
35:18  No bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another. And if one heavy laden should call upon others for help to bear his load, not aught of it will be carried by none, not even a relative. You can only warn those who show reverence and honor to their Lord although they cannot see Him, and duly perform their prayers. And whoever achieved positive spiritual growth, he achieved it only for his own benefit. To Allâh is the journeying.
35:19  Not equal are the spiritually blind and the enlightened one,
35:20  Nor the darkness and light,
35:21  Nor the sunshade and the heat.
35:22  Not equal are the living ones and the dead. Indeed, Allâh makes whom He wills to hear. But you cannot make those who are in the tombs to hear.
35:23  You are only a Messenger whose sole duty is to admonish.
35:24  Verily, We have sent you with the truth as a herald of glad tidings and as a Messenger who give warnings. And there is not a past nation but a Messenger has passed among them.
35:25  If it happens that they are inclined to deny you, then (you’ll need to know that) those who before them had denied the Messengers. Their Messengers came to them with Irrefutable Signs , Psalms and enlightening Scripture.
35:26  Then I seized those who voluntarily and consciously refuse to Yield to the Truth. And how dreadful was My condemnation!
35:27  Do you not see how Allâh sends down water from the sky and with it brings forth fruits of various colors? In the mountains are streaks white and red, of varying colors and (others) intensely deep black.
35:28  Also, of people, animals, and livestock come in various colors. Of His servants, only those who have the gift of wisdom and knowledge show more proper reverence for Allâh (than others). Indeed, Allâh is Almighty, Oft-Forgiving.
35:29  Indeed, as for those who recite the Book of Allâh, establish the regular Prayer and spend (in His cause) out of what We have provided them, in secret and public, they rummage around for a commerce that will never perish.
35:30  For He will pay them in full their rewards and give them even more out of His Bounty. Verily! He is Oft-Forgiving, All-appreciating.
35:31  As for that which We inspire in you of the Book is the truth verifying that which was (revealed) before it. Verily! Allâh is indeed All-Aware and All-Seer of His servants.
35:32  Then We gave the Scripture as inheritance to those whom We chose from among Our servants. But of them is he who is unfair to himself, of them is he who is lukewarm, and of them is he who is foremost in doing good by the permission of Allâh. This is the most ultimate Bounty and the supreme one.
35:33  Gardens of Eden will they enter, therein they will be decked with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their raiment there will be of fine silk.
35:34  They will say: "All Praise Is Due Allâh, Who has taken the sorrow away from us! Verily! Our Lord is definitely Oft-Forgiving, All-Appreciating,
35:35  Who, out of His Bounty, has made us to be established in the abode of everlasting life, where neither toil nor fatigue shall touch us.
35:36  On the other hand, those who voluntarily and consciously refuse to Yield to the Truth will have to incur the Fire of Gehenna. It will be preordained for them not to die, neither will the torment be lightened for them. This is how We chastise every ingrate one.
35:37  Therein they will cry out: “Our Lord, get us out, (most surely) we shall do righteousness - other than those which we were inclined to do". (They will be Told): ‘Did We not grant you a life long enough for whoever would (like to) consider therein to consider? There came to you the Messenger (who gave you sufficient warning about how to avoid Hellfire). So, now taste ( the dire consequences of your iniquitous deeds)’. As for those who have voluntarily and consciously abandoned the Full Knowledge of the Truth in favour of their own whims, there will be no helper (to protect them against punishment of Allâh).
35:38  Indeed, Allâh has full knowledge of the unseen of heavens and earth. And most certainly, He knows well what is stored up in the hearts.
35:39  And He is the One Who has made you successors in the earth. So whoever is tempted to deny the Truth will have to face the dire consequences of his persistent denial. Their persistent denial doesn’t increase the deniers of Truth with their Lord in anything except displeasure. And their persistent denial doesn’t increase the deniers of Truth in any thing except perdition.
35:40  Say: “Have you seen your partner-gods whom you call upon, other than Allâh? Show me what part of the earth they have created. Or do they have any share in the creation of the heavens? Or, have We given them a book so that they may follow an evident pretext thereof? Nay, but those who have voluntarily and consciously abandoned the Full Knowledge of the Truth in favour of their own whims promise one another naught but deception."
35:41  Verily Allâh upholds the heavens and the earth lest they fragmentize. If it should happen that they fragmentize, then none would uphold them after Him. Most certainly, He is Ever Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.
35:42  And they swore by Allâh solemnly that If it should happen that a Messenger would come to admonish them, they would be better guided than any of the nation. But when a Messenger came to admonish them, his coming only increased their aversion to the Truth,
35:43  Behaving arrogantly in the land, and devising evil. Yet such evil scheming will encompass only those who plot evil. Are they awaiting anything other than the way We dealt with the ancients? Yet you shall not find any alteration or revision in the course of Allâh.
35:44  Have they not travelled through the land and seen the (dreadful) end of those who were before them? They were more powerful than them- (Pagan Arabs). Nothing in the heavens or on the earth can frustrate (the power of) Allâh. Most certainly He is Ever All-Knowing, All-Powerful.
35:45  And If Allâh were to inflict a penalty on the people for what they committed, He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth. But He reprieves them till an appointed term. Thus, When their doom comes, then (bear in mind that) Allâh is definitely All-Seer of His servants.
