30:1  Alif.Lam.Mim.
30:2  The Romans have been defeated
30:3  In the nearest land. And they, after their defeat, will soon overcome
30:4  In a few years; for God is the command before and after; and on that day the believers will rejoice
30:5  With the help of God; He helps whom He wills; and He is the Mighty, the Compassionate.
30:6  The promise of God. God does not break His promise, but most of mankind do not know.
30:7  They know the apparent of the worldly life, and they, they are heedless of the hereafter.
30:8  And did they not think in their souls, God created not the heavens and the earth and what is between both of them except with the truth and for a named term? And indeed, many of mankind surely disbelieve in the meeting of their Lord.
30:9  And did they not travel in the earth and see how the end of those who were before them was? They were stronger than them in strength, and they ploughed the earth and cultivated it more than they have cultivated it; and their messengers came to them with the clear proofs; and God was not to wrong them but they used to wrong their souls.
30:10  Then evil was the end of those who did evil that they called the signs of God lies and they used to mock them.
30:11  God originates the creation, then He repeats it, then to Him you will be returned.
30:12  And on the day the Hour rises, the sinners will despair;
30:13  And there will be no intercessors for them among their partners; and they will disbelieve in their partners.
30:14  And on the day the Hour rises, on that day they will separate;
30:15  Then as for those who believed and did good works, then they are in a meadow, joyful;
30:16  And as for those who disbelieved and called Our signs and the meeting of the hereafter lies, then those are in the punishment arraigned.
30:17  So glory be to God when you are in the evening and when you are in the morning,
30:18  And for Him is the praise in the heavens and the earth, and in the afternoon, and when you are at noon.
30:19  He brings forth the living from the dead, and He brings forth the dead from the living; and He gives the earth life after its death, and thus you will be brought forth.
30:20  And among His signs is that He created you from dust, then behold, you are mortals spread out.
30:21  And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves spouses that you may rely on them; and He made between you love and mercy; indeed, in that surely are signs for people who think.
30:22  And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your tongues and your colours; indeed, in that surely are signs for those who know.
30:23  And among His signs is your sleep in the night and the day; and your seeking of His grace; indeed, in that surely are signs for people who hear.
30:24  And among His signs He shows you the lightning, fear and hope; and He sends down water from the heaven, then with it He gives the earth life after its death; indeed, in that surely are signs for people who are intelligent.
30:25  And among His signs is that the heaven and the earth stand by His command; then when He calls you, a call from the earth, behold you, you will come forth.
30:26  And for Him is whoever is in the heavens and the earth, all are obedient to Him.
30:27  And He is the one who originates the creation then repeats it, and it is most easy for Him; and for Him is the highest similitude in the heavens and the earth; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
30:28  He has struck a similitude for you from yourselves: do you have among what your right hands possess, partners in what We have provided for you, so you are equal in it, you fear them as you fear yourselves? Thus We explain in detail the signs for people who are intelligent.
30:29  Nay, those who did wrong followed their lusts without knowledge. So who will guide one whom God has caused to go astray? And there are no helpers for them.
30:30  So set your face steadfast to the religion, upright, the nature of God, the one upon which He originated mankind, there is no change to the creation of God, that is the correct religion, but most of mankind do not know;
30:31  Repentant to Him; and fear Him; and be steadfast in the prayer; and do not be among the idolaters,
30:32  Among those who divided their religion and become sects, each party in what they have, rejoicing.
30:33  And when harm touches mankind, they call upon their Lord, repentant to Him; then when He makes them taste mercy from Him, behold, a party of them associate partners with their Lord,
30:34  That they may be ungrateful for what We gave them; So enjoy, then soon you will know.
30:35  Or We sent down to them an authority, and it speaks of what they used to associate with Him?
30:36  And when We make mankind taste mercy, they rejoice in it, and if evil befalls them for what their hands have sent forward, behold they, they despair.
30:37  And did they not see that God extends the provision to whom He wills and He straitens? Indeed, in that surely are signs for people who believe.
30:38  So give the relative his due, and the poor and the wayfarer; that is better for those who desire the face of God, and those, they are the prosperous.
30:39  And what you gave of usury, that it may increase in the wealth of mankind, does not increase with God; and what you gave of alms, desiring the face of God, then those, they are the doubled ones.
30:40  God is the one who created you, then He provided for you; then He will make you die, then He will give you life; is there among your partners one who does anything of that? Glory be to Him and exalted is He from what they associate.
30:41  Corruption has appeared in the land and the sea, for what the hands of mankind have earned, that He may make them taste some of that which they have done, perhaps they may return.
30:42  Say, 'Travel in the earth, and see how the end of those who were before was,’ most of them were idolaters.
30:43  So set your face steadfast to the correct religion before that a day for which there is no averting comes from God; on that day they will be split.
30:44  Whoever disbelieved, then upon him is his disbelief; and whoever did right, then for themselves they are preparing.
30:45  That He may recompense those who believed and did good works from His grace; indeed, He does not love the disbelievers.
30:46  And among His signs is that He sends the winds, announcers of glad tidings, and that you may taste of His mercy, and that the ships may sail by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and perhaps you may be thankful.
30:47  And surely, certainly We sent messengers before you to their people, then they came to them with the clear proofs; then We took vengeance on those who sinned, and the helping of the believers was due upon Us.
30:48  God is the one who sends the winds, then they stir up a cloud; then He spreads it out in the sky how He wills; and He makes it pieces, then you see the rain come forth from its midst; then when it falls on whom He wills of His servants, behold they, they rejoice;
30:49  And indeed, they were, before that it was sent down upon them, before it, surely in despair.
30:50  So look at the traces of the mercy of God, how He gives the earth life after its death; indeed, that is surely the giver of life to the dead; and He is powerful over everything.
30:51  And surely if We send a wind and they see it becoming yellow, surely they would continue disbelieving after it.
30:52  So indeed, you cannot make the dead hear, and you cannot make the deaf hear the call, when they turn back, retreating.
30:53  And you cannot guide the blind from their error. You cannot make hear except one who believes in Our signs, so they are submitters.
30:54  God is the one who created you from weakness, then He made after weakness strength; then He made after strength, weakness and grey hair; He creates what He wills; and He is the Knowing, the Powerful.
30:55  And on the day the Hour rises, the sinners will swear they tarried not except an hour; thus they were turned away.
30:56  And those who were given the knowledge and the faith will say, 'Surely, certainly you tarried, in the Book of God, until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection but you do not know.'
30:57  Then on that day their excuse will not profit those who did wrong; and they, they will not be regarded with favour.
30:58  And surely, certainly We have struck for mankind in this, the Quran, of every similitude; and surely if you come to them with a sign, those who disbelieved will surely, definitely say, 'You are not except vain-doers.'
30:59  Thus God sets a seal upon the hearts of those who do not know.
30:60  So be patient, indeed, the promise of God is true; and definitely do not let those who are not sure deem you light.
