No! I ˹Allah˺ do swear by this city ˹of Makkah˺

and you ˹O Prophet˺ are free ˹of restriction˺ in this city ˹of Makkah˺

and ˹by˺ the father and that (i.e., child) which was born ˹of him˺

Certainly, We have created the human being into (a life of constant) struggle.

Does he (i.e., human being) think that no one has the power over him (i.e., human being)

he (i.e., human being) says: “I have wasted (i.e., spent) wealth in abundance!”
90:7
Does he (i.e., human being) think that no one sees him (i.e., human being)
90:8
Have We not made for him (i.e., human being) two eyes
90:9
and a tongue and two lips
90:10
and shown him (i.e., human being) the two ways (i.e., of right ˹meaning good˺ and wrong ˹meaning evil˺)
90:11
But he (i.e., human being) has not attempted the steep path
90:12
And what can make you realize what the steep path is
90:13
˹It is˺ freeing a neck
90:14
or feeding in a day of severe hunger
90:15
to an orphan of near relationship
90:16
or a poor person in dusty circumstances
90:17
then he (i.e., human being) is one of those who believe and recommend ˹each other˺ to patience and recommend ˹each other˺ to compassion (i.e., passion to help the suffering)
90:18
Those (i.e., human being) are the companions of the right (i.e., paradise)
90:19
and those (i.e., human being) who disbelieve in Our Verses
90:20
fire will close in on them (i.e., companion of the left)
