Surah al-Buruj (The Mansions of the Stars, The Constellations) - Samy Mahdy Translation

85:1  By the sky which possesses the constellations.

85:2  And by the Promised Day.

85:3  And by a witness and witnessed.

85:4  Were killed (cursed) the groove’s companions.

85:5  The fire, possessor of the fuel.

85:6  When they sat nearby it.

85:7  And they were upon what they did with the believers, witnesses.

85:8  And they were not resentful of them except that they believed in Allah Al-Aziz (The Almighty), Al-Hameed (The Praiseworthy).

85:9  The One who for Him the skies’ sovereignty and the earth. And Allah is over everything, a Witness.

85:10  Surely those who infatuated the believer men and the believer women, then do not repent; so, for them is Gohanam torment (Hell); and for them is the burn torment.

85:11  Surely those who believed and worked the righteous deeds are for them the paradises beneath which the rivers are running. That is The Great Winning.

85:12  Surely the annihilation of your Lord is severe.

85:13  Surely, He is who starts and repeats.

85:14  And He is Al-Ghafoor (The Forgiver), Al-Wadood (The Affectionate).

85:15  Possessor of the Glorious Throne.

85:16  Doer for whatever He wants.

85:17  Has there come to you the troops' narration?

85:18  Pharaoh and Thamud?

85:19  Nay, but those who disbelieved are in mendacity.

85:20  And Allah from behind them, encompassing.

85:21  Nay, but it is a Glorious Quran.
