75:1  Indeed I swear by the day of the resurrection.
75:2  And Indeed I swear by the blaming soul.
75:3  Does the human being think that We will never put together his bones?
75:4  Yes indeed, We are able to make his fingers in perfect symmetry.
75:5  Nay! The human being wants to foresee what is ahead of him.
75:6  He asks, “When will be the day of the resurrection.”
75:7  But when the sight gets snatched away.
75:8  And the moon is eclipsed.
75:9  And the sun and the moon are made into one.
75:10  The human being will say that day, “Where is the place for escape?”
75:11  Not at all! There is no place for refuge.
75:12  The final resting place that day is with your Lord.
75:13  The human being will be informed that day about all that he had sent forth and all that he had sent back.
75:14  Nay! The human being is quite a witness over his own soul.
75:15  Even though he may put forward his excuses.
75:16  Do not move your tongue with it in order to hasten with it.
75:17  Indeed its gathering and recitation is upon Us.
75:18  So when We have recited it, then follow its recitation.
75:19  Then after it indeed it will be upon Us to explicate it.
75:20  Not at all! Nay. You love the present [life].
75:21  But you abandon the hereafter.
75:22  Some faces on that day will be bright.
75:23  Gazing towards their Lord.
75:24  But some faces that day will be desolate.
75:25  Thinking that a back breaking calamity was about to befall them.
75:26  Not at all! When it [the soul] reaches the extremity of the throat.
75:27  And it will be said, “Who is the soothsayer?”
75:28  And he [the dying man] will sense that it indeed is the parting.
75:29  And one leg is twisted around the other leg.
75:30  The drive that day will be towards your Lord.
75:31  Indeed he did not give out charity nor did he pray.
75:32  But he belied and turned away.
75:33  Then he went to his family swaggering.
75:34  Woe unto you and then woe unto you!
75:35  And then woe unto you and then woe unto you!
75:36  Does the human being think that he will be left alone without account?
75:37  Was he not a tiny drop from semen as it flew out?
75:38  Then he became a clot of blood so then He created [him] and then made [him] in due proportions.
75:39  Out of him [the human being], He made the two pairs; the male and the female.
75:40  Is He then not able to revive the dead?
