wa-iʿ'lamū
that what
annamā
you obtain (as) spoils of war
ghanim'tum
of
min
anything,
shayin
then that,
fa-anna
for Allah
lillahi
(is) one fifth of it
khumusahu
and for the Messenger
walilrrasūli
and for the
walidhī
near relatives,
l-qur'bā
and the orphans
wal-yatāmā
and the needy
wal-masākīni
and the
wa-ib'ni
wayfarer,
l-sabīli
if
in
you
kuntum
believe
āmantum
in Allah,
bil-lahi
and (in) what
wamā
We sent down
anzalnā
to
ʿalā
Our slave
ʿabdinā
(on the) day
yawma
(of) the criterion,
l-fur'qāni
(the) day
yawma
(when) met
l-taqā
the two forces.
l-jamʿāni
And Allah
wal-lahu
(is) on
ʿalā
every
kulli
thing
shayin
All-Powerful.
