61:1  All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth has glorified Allah and He is The All-mighty, The All-wise.

61:2  O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do.

61:3  Egregiously heinous it is in the sight of Allah that you say which you do not do.

61:4  Truly Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks as though they are a building, well-structured.

61:5  And when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Why do you hurt me when you surely know that I indeed am messenger of Allah to you?” But when they were bent on crookedness, Allah caused their hearts to be crooked and Allah does not guide the people who are the renegades.

61:6  And when Jesus son of Mary said, “O children of Israel! I indeed am messenger of Allah to you testifying to the truth that came before me in Torah and giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me whose name is Ahmad.” But when he brought clear signs to them, they said, “This is a magic most evident.”

61:7  And who does greater wrong to his own soul than one who contrives the lie against Allah while he is being called to self-surrender and Allah does not guide the people who have done wrong to their own souls.

61:8  They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah is going to fulfill His light even though the disbelievers may be averse to it.

61:9  He it is who sent His messenger with the guidance and with religion of the truth so that He may make it prevail over the religion all of it even though those who ascribe partners to Allah may be averse to it.

61:10  O you who believe! May I point out to you a trade which will save you from a painful punishment.

61:11  You will believe in Allah and in His messenger and you will strive in the way of Allah with your wealth and with your lives. That is better for you if you indeed know.

61:12  then He will forgive you your sins and He will make you enter into gardens beneath which the rivers flow and into goodly abodes in the gardens of felicity. That is the most magnificent triumph.

61:13  And another [immediate achievement] which you love.. Help from Allah and a victory close at hand. So give glad tidings to the believers.

61:14  O you who believe! Be helpers of Allah as Jesus son of Mary said to the disciples, “Who are my helpers to Allah?” The disciples said, “We are helpers of Allah.” So a party from the children of Israel believed and a party disbelieved. So We gave help to those who believed against their enemies and so they became the ones who prevailed.
