They (are) listeners

to falsehood,
lil'kadhibi
(and) listeners
sammāʿūna
for people
liqawmin
other,
ākharīna
(who have) not
lam
come to you.
yatūka
They distort
yuḥarrifūna
the words
l-kalima
from
min
after
baʿdi
their context,
mawāḍiʿihi
saying,
yaqūlūna
"If
in
you are given
ūtītum
this
hādhā
[so] take it
fakhudhūhu
but if
wa-in
not
lam
you are given it
tu'tawhu
then beware."
fa-iḥ'dharū
And (for) whom
waman
intends
yuridi
Allah
l-lahu
his trial,
fit'natahu
then never
falan
will you have power
tamlika
for him
lahu
against
mina
Allah
l-lahi
anything.
shayan
Those
ulāika
(are) the ones
alladhīna
never
lam
intends
yuridi
Allah
l-lahu
that
an
He purifies
yuṭahhira
their hearts.
qulūbahum
For them
lahum

the world
l-dun'yā
(is) disgrace
khiz'yun
and for them
walahum

the Hereafter
l-ākhirati
(is) a punishment
