66:1  O prophet! Why do you make unlawful what God made lawful for you, seeking the pleasure of your wives? And God is forgiving, compassionate.
66:2  Certainly, God has ordained for you the expiation of your oaths. And God is your master and He is the Knowing, the Wise.
66:3  And when the prophet told information secretly to some of his wives, and when she gave information of it, and God made it apparent to him, he made known some of it and turned away from some. And when he informed her of it, she said, 'Who informed you of this?' He said, 'The Knowing, the Aware informed me.'
66:4  If you both repent to God, and certainly your hearts have inclined. And if you assist one another against him, then indeed, God, He is his master and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels after that are assistants.
66:5  Perhaps his Lord, if he divorces you, will give him in exchange wives better than you: women who submit, who believe, who are obedient, who repent, who worship, who journey for the purpose of devoting to religious services, previously married and virgins.
66:6  O those who believed! Guard yourselves and your families from a fire; its fuel is mankind and the stones; over it are angels harsh, strong; they do not rebel against God in what He commanded them, and they do what they are commanded.
66:7  O those who disbelieved! Do not excuse yourselves today. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do.
66:8  O those who believed! Repent to God, sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will cover from you your evil deeds and make you enter gardens beneath which the rivers flow, on the day God will not disgrace the prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will run before them and on their right. They will say, 'Our Lord! Perfect for us our light and forgive us; indeed, You are powerful over everything.'
66:9  O prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh with them; and their refuge is hell, and evil is the destination.
66:10  God has struck a similitude for those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot; they were under two righteous servants among Our servants, and they were treacherous to them. So they availed them nothing against God. And it was said, 'Enter the fire with those who enter.'
66:11  And God has struck a similitude for those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, 'My Lord! Build for me a house near You in the garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his work, and save me from the wrongdoing people.'
66:12  And Mary, the daughter of Imran, who fortified her private part, then We blew into it of Our spirit and she verified the words of her Lord and His books, and she was of the obedient.
