AYAH al-`Ankabut 29:6

Arabic وَمَن جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ zoom
Transliteration Waman jahada fa-innama yujahidu linafsihi inna Allaha laghaniyyun AAani alAAalameena zoom
Transliteration-2 waman jāhada fa-innamā yujāhidu linafsihi inna l-laha laghaniyyun ʿani l-ʿālamīna zoom

Muhammad Asad Hence, whoever strives hard [in God’s cause] does so only for his own good: for, verily, God does not stand in need of anything in all the worlds! zoom
