AYAH al-Qasas 28:10

Arabic وَأَصْبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَارِغًا إِن كَادَتْ لَتُبْدِي بِهِ لَوْلَا أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ zoom
Transliteration Waasbaha fu-adu ommi moosa farighan in kadat latubdee bihi lawla an rabatna AAala qalbiha litakoona mina almu/mineena zoom
Transliteration-2 wa-aṣbaḥa fuādu ummi mūsā fārighan in kādat latub'dī bihi lawlā an rabaṭnā ʿalā qalbihā litakūna mina l-mu'minīna zoom
Literal

 And became (the) heart (of the) mother (of) Musa empty. That, she was near (to) disclosing about him, if not that We strengthened [over] her heart, so that she would be of the believers. zoom


Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad On the morrow, however, an aching void grew up in the heart of the mother of Moses, and she would indeed have disclosed all about him had We not endowed her heart with enough strength to keep alive her faith [in Our promise]. zoom
