AYAH an-Nur 24:28

Arabic فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا فِيهَا أَحَدًا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا حَتَّىٰ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ وَإِن قِيلَ لَكُمُ ارْجِعُوا فَارْجِعُوا هُوَ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ zoom
Transliteration Fa-in lam tajidoo feeha ahadan fala tadkhulooha hatta yu/thana lakum wa-in qeela lakumu irjiAAoo fairjiAAoo huwa azka lakum waAllahu bima taAAmaloona AAaleemun zoom
Transliteration-2 fa-in lam tajidū fīhā aḥadan falā tadkhulūhā ḥattā yu'dhana lakum wa-in qīla lakumu ir'jiʿū fa-ir'jiʿū huwa azkā lakum wal-lahu bimā taʿmalūna ʿalīmun zoom
Literal

 But if not you find in it anyone, then (do) not enter it until permission has been given to you. And if it is said to you "Go back," then go back; it (is) purer for you. And Allah of what you do (is) All-Knower. zoom


Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad Hence, [even] if you find no one within [the house], do not enter it until you are given leave; and if you are told, “Turn back,” then turn back. This will be most conducive to your purity; and God has full knowledge of all that you do. zoom
M. M. Pickthall And if ye find no-one therein, still enter not until permission hath been given. And if it be said unto you: Go away again, then go away, for it is purer for you. Allah knoweth what ye do. zoom
