obligation, to impose law, prescribe, ordain, enact, settle, fix, ratify, appoint, command an observation or obedience to, sanction, assign, be aged.
faridzun - old cow.
faridzatun - ordinance, settlement, settled portion, jointure stipulation.
mafrudz - appointed, determinate, settled one, allotted.

4:24
And (prohibited are) the ones of the women except whom you possess rightfully. Decree (of) Allah upon you. And are lawful to you what (is) beyond that; that you seek with your wealth desiring to be chaste not (to be) lustful. So what you benefit[ed] of it from them, so you give them their bridal due (as) an obligation. And (there is) no sin on you concerning what you mutually agree of it from beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

2:236
(There is) no blame upon you if you divorce [the] women whom not you have touched nor you specified for them an obligation (dower). And make provision for them - upon the wealthy according to his means and upon the poor according to his means - a provision in a fair manner, a duty upon the good-doers.

They said, "Pray for us (to) your Lord to make clear to us what it (is)." He said, "Indeed, He says, "[Indeed] it (is) a cow not old and not young, middle aged between that," so do what you are commanded."

Not (there can) be upon the Prophet any discomfort in what has imposed Allah on him. (That is the) Way (of) Allah concerning those who passed away from before. And is (the) Command (of) Allah a decree destined.

66:2
Indeed, has ordained Allah for you (the) dissolution (of) your oaths. And Allah (is) your Protector and He (is) the All-Knower, the All-Wise.

28:85
Indeed, He Who ordained upon you the Quran (will) surely take you back to a place of return. Say, "My Lord (is) most knowing (of him) who comes with the guidance, and who - he (is) in an error manifest."

2:197
(For) the Hajj (are) months well known, then whoever undertakes therein the Hajj then no sexual relations and no wickedness and no quarrelling during the Hajj. O Prophet! Indeed, We [We] have made lawful to you your wives (to) whom you have given their bridal money and whom you possess rightfully from those (whom) has given Allah to you, and (the) daughters (of) your paternal uncles and (the) daughters (of) your paternal aunts and (the) daughters (of) your maternal uncles and (the) daughters (of) your maternal aunts who emigrated with you, and a woman believing if she gives herself to the Prophet if wishes the Prophet to marry her - only for you, from excluding the believers. Certainly, We know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and whom they possess rightfully, that not should be on you any discomfort. And is Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

4:24

4:11
Instructs you Allah concerning your children - for the male like (the) portion (of) two females. But if there are (only) women more (than) two, then for them two thirds (of) what he left. And if (there) is (only) one, then for her (is) half. And for his parents, for each one of them a sixth of what (is) left, if is for him a child. But if not is for him any child and inherit[ed] him his parents, then for his mother (is) one third. And if are for him brothers and sisters, then for his mother (is) the sixth from after any will he has made [of which] or any debt. Your parents and your children - not you know which of them (is) nearer to you (in) benefit. An obligation from Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

9:60
Only the charities (are) for the poor, and the needy and those who collect them, and the ones inclined their hearts, and in the (freeing of) the necks, and for those in debt and in (the) way (of) Allah, and the wayfarer - an obligation from Allah. And Allah (is) All-Knowing, All-Wise.

For the men a portion of what (is) left (by) the parents, and the near relatives and for the women a portion of what (is) left (by) parents and the near relatives of what (is) little of it or much - a portion obligatory.
