AYAH an-Nisa` 4:5

Arabic وَلَا تُؤْتُوا السُّفَهَاءَ أَمْوَالَكُمُ الَّتِي جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ قِيَامًا وَارْزُقُوهُمْ فِيهَا وَاكْسُوهُمْ وَقُولُوا لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا zoom
Transliteration Wala tu/too alssufahaa amwalakumu allatee jaAAala Allahu lakum qiyaman waorzuqoohum feeha waoksoohum waqooloo lahum qawlan maAAroofan zoom
Transliteration-2 walā tu'tū l-sufahāa amwālakumu allatī jaʿala l-lahu lakum qiyāman wa-ur'zuqūhum fīhā wa-ik'sūhum waqūlū lahum qawlan maʿrūfan zoom

Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad And do not entrust to those who are weak of judgment the possessions which God has placed in your charge for [their] support; but let them have their sustenance therefrom, and clothe them, and speak unto them in a kindly way. zoom

Ahmed Hulusi Look out for and test the orphans until they reach a marriageable age. If you see that they are mature enough, then give their properties back to them. Do not hasten to consume their property by wasteful spending in fear that they will grow up and take ownership. Let the wealthy one be modest (and refrain from consuming the properties of orphans) and the needy one take only as much is customary (without exceeding the boundary). And let there be witnesses (for the evaluation of your actions) when you return their properties back to them. Sufficient for you is the quality of the Name Hasib from the Names of Allah that comprise your essence. zoom

Al-muntakhab fi tafsir al-Qur'an al-Karim And when time is ripe to hand over the property, with which you are entrusted, to the orphans who now come of age, make sure they are not characterized by a disordered mind; this property is in fact the trust of the community but held in trust by a particular individual.
