AYAH al-Baqarah 2:181

Arabic فَمَن بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَمَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ zoom
Transliteration Faman baddalahu baAAda ma samiAAahu fa-innama ithmuhu AAala allatheena yubaddiloonahu inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun zoom
Transliteration-2 faman baddalahu baʿdamā samiʿahu fa-innamā ith'muhu ʿalā alladhīna yubaddilūnahu inna l-laha samīʿun ʿalīmun zoom

 Then whoever changes it after what he (has) heard [it], so only its sin (would be) on those who alter it. Indeed, Allah (is) All-Hearing, All-Knowing. zoom


Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad And if anyone alters such a provision - after having come to know it, the sin of acting thus shall fall only upon those who have altered it. Verily, God is all-hearing, all-knowing. zoom
