AYAH al-Baqarah 2:116

Arabic وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَل لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ zoom
Transliteration Waqaloo itakhatha Allahu waladan subhanahu bal lahu ma fee alssamawati waal-ardi kullun lahu qanitoona zoom
Transliteration-2 waqālū ittakhadha l-lahu waladan sub'ḥānahu bal lahu mā fī l-samāwāti wal-arḍi kullun lahu qānitūna zoom

 And they said, "has taken Allah a son." Glory be to Him! Nay, for Him (is) what (is) in the heavens and the earth. All to Him (are) humbly obedient. zoom


Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad And yet some people assert, "God has taken unto Himself a son!" Limitless is He in His glory! Nay, but His is all that is in the heavens and on earth; all things devoutly obey His will. zoom
