General Root Meaning
to bring out the stalk (of a plant), sprout forth, walk on the bank of a river or valley.
shat'un - the stalk of a plant.
shaati'un (pl. shawaatiun) - branch of or shoot of a river or valley.
   shāṭi-i   (1)
