General Root Meaning
To be enough, sufficient.
   bikāfin   (1)

Is not Allah sufficient (for) His slave? And they threaten you with those from besides Him. And whoever lets go astray Allah - then not for him any guide.

   fasayakfīkahumu   (1)

So if they believe[d] in (the) like (of) what you have believed in [it], then indeed, they are (rightly) guided. But if they turn away, then only they (are) in dissension. So will suffice you against th Allah, and He (is) the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

   fakafā   (1)

So sufficient (is) Allah (as) a witness between us and between you that we were of your worship certainly unaware.

   kafā   (2)

And say those who disbelieve, "You are not a Messenger." Say, "Sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Witness between me and between you, and whoever [he] has knowledge (of) the Book."

"Read your record. Sufficient (is) yourself today, against you (as) accountant."

Or they say, "He has invented it." Say, "If I have invented it then not you have power for me against Allah anything. He knows best of what you utter concerning it. Sufficient (is) He (as) a Witness between me and between you, and He (is) the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Say, "Sufficient is Allah (as) a witness between me and between you. Indeed, He is of His slaves All-Aware, All-Seer."

Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and between you (as) a Witness. He knows what (is) in the heavens and the earth. And those who believe in [the] falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, those, they (are) the losers."

Indeed, We [We] are sufficient for you (against) the mockers

   wakafā   (4)

And test the orphans until [when] they reach[ed] (the age of) marriage, then if you perceive in them sound judgement then deliver to them their wealth. And (do) not eat it extravagantly and hastily (fearing) that they will grow up. And whoever is rich then he should refrain, and whoever is poor then let him eat (of it) in a fair manner. Then when you deliver to them their wealth then take witnesses on them. And is sufficient Allah (as) a Reckoner.

And for Allah (is) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth. And is sufficient Allah (as) a Disposer of affairs.

And put your trust in Allah. And is sufficient Allah (as) Disposer of affairs.

And Allah knows better about your enemies and sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Protector, and sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Helper.

See how they invent about Allah [the] lie, and sufficient is it - (as) a sin manifest.

Then of them (are some) who believed in him and of them (are some) who turned away from him, and sufficient (is) Hell (as a) Blazing Fire.

That (is) the Bounty of Allah, and sufficient (is) Allah, (as) All-Knower.

What(ever) befalls you of (the) good (is) from Allah, and whatever befalls you of (the) evil (is) from yourself. And We (have) sent you for the people (as) a Messenger, and sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Witness.

And they say, "(We pledge) obedience" Then when they leave [from] you, plan by night a group of them other than that which you say. But Allah records what they plan by night. So turn (away) from them and put (your) trust in Allah. and sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Trustee.

But Allah bears witness to what He (has) revealed to you. He has sent it down with His Knowledge and the Angels bear witness. And sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Witness.

O People (of) the Book! (Do) not commit excess in your religion and (do) not say about Allah except the truth. Only the Messiah, Isa, son (of) Maryam, (was) a Messenger (of) Allah and His word which He conveyed to Maryam and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers. And (do) not say, "Three;" desist (it is) better for you. Only Allah (is) God One. Glory be to Him! That He (should) have for Him a son. To Him (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth. And sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Disposer of affairs.

And how many We destroyed from the generations from after Nuh! And sufficient (is) your Lord concerning the sins (of) His servants All-Aware, All-Seer.

"Indeed, My slaves not for you over them any authority. And sufficient (is) your Lord (as) a Guardian."

And We set the scales (of) the justice for (the) Day (of) the Resurrection, so not will be wronged any soul (in) anything. And if (there) be weight (of) a seed of a mustard We will bring [with] it. And sufficient (are) We (as) Reckoners.

Those who convey (the) Messages (of) Allah and fear Him and (do) not fear anyone except Allah. And sufficient is Allah (as) a Reckoner.

And (do) not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and disregard their harm, and put your trust in Allah. And sufficient is Allah (as) a Trustee.

And put your trust in the Ever-Living, the One Who not does die, and glorify with His Praise. And sufficient is He regarding the sins (of) His slaves, All-Aware,

And turned back Allah those who disbelieved, in their rage, not they obtained any good. And sufficient is Allah (for) the believers (in) the battle, and is Allah All-Strong, All-Mighty.

He (is) the One Who (has) sent His Messenger with guidance and (the) religion, the true that He (may) make it prevail over the religions all. And sufficient is Allah (as) a Witness.

And thus We have made for every Prophet an enemy, among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord, (as) a Guide and a Helper.

Soon We will show them Our Signs in the horizons and in themselves until becomes clear to them, that it (is) the truth. Is (it) not sufficient concerning your Lord, that He (is) over all things a Witness?

   yakfihim   (1)

And is (it) not sufficient for them that We revealed to you the Book (which) is recited to them? Indeed, in that, surely is a mercy and a reminder for a people who believe.

   yakfiyakum   (1)

When you said to the believers, "Is it not enough for you that reinforces you your Lord with three thousand[s] [of] [the] Angels [the ones] sent down?
