General Root Meaning
to create out of nothing, cleave/split/crack/break, be broken into pieces, cleave asunder, begin to create.
fitrat - natural disposition or constitution with which a child is created. The faculty of knowing God and capability of accepting the religion of truth, religion.
fatir -creator, one of the names of Allah.
futur - crack/flaw.
munfatirun - split one, cloven one, one rent asunder.
   infaṭarat   (1)

When the sky (is) cleft asunder,

My Lord, indeed, you have given of the sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of the events. Creator (of) the heavens and the earth, You (are) my Protector, in the world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die (as) a Muslim, and join me with the righteous."

Say, "O Allah! Creator (of) the heavens and the earth, Knower (of) the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between Your slaves in what they used to therein differ."

(The) Creator (of) the heavens and the earth. He made for you from yourselves, mates, and among the cattle mates; He multiplies you thereby. (There) is not like Him anything, and He (is) the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

He invites you, so that He may forgive for you [of] your sins, and give you respite for a term appointed." They said, "Not you (are) but a human like us, you wish to hinder us from what used to worship our forefathers. So bring us an authority clear."

Say, "Is it other than Allah I (should) take (as) a protector, Creator, (of) the heavens and the earth, while (it is) He Who feeds and not He is fed?" Say, "Indeed I [I] am commanded that I be (the) first who submits (to Allah) and not be of the polytheists."

All praises (be) to Allah, Originator (of) the heavens and the earth, (Who) makes the Angels messengers having wings two or three or four. He increases in the creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful.

   faṭara   (2)

Indeed, I [I] have turned my face to the One Who created the heavens and the earth (as) a true monotheist, and not I (am) of the polytheists.

So set your face to the religion upright. Nature (made by) Allah (upon) which He has created mankind [on it]. No change (should there be) in the creat (of) Allah. That (is) the religion the correct, but most men (do) not know.

Or a creation of what (is) great in your breasts." Then they will say, "Who will restore us?" Say, "He Who created you (the) first time." Then they will shake at you their heads and they say, "When (will) it (be)?" Say, "Perhaps that (it) will be soon."

They said, "Never we will prefer you over what has come to us of the clear proofs, and the One Who created us. So decree whatever you (are) decreeing. Only you can decree (for) this life (of) the world.

   faṭaranī   (1)

O my people! Not I ask you for it any reward. Not (is) my reward except from the One Who created me. Then will not you use reason?

And what (is) for me (that) not I worship the One Who created me and to Whom you will be returned?

Except the One Who created me; and indeed, He will guide me."

   faṭarahunna   (1)

He said, "Nay, your Lord (is the) Lord (of) the heavens and the earth, the One Who created them and I am to that of the witnesses.

   fuṭūrin   (1)

The One Who created seven heavens one above another. Not you see in (the) creation (of) the Most Gracious any fault. So return the vision, can you see any flaw?

   munfaṭirun   (1)

The heaven (will) break apart therefrom, is His Promise to be fulfilled.

   yatafaṭṭarna   (2)

Almost the heavens break up from above them, and the Angels glorify (the) praise (of) their Lord and ask for forgiveness for those on the earth. Unquestionably, indeed, Allah, He (is) the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Almost the heavens get torn therefrom, and splits asunder the earth and collapse the mountain (in) devastation
