62:1
What is in the heavens and what is in the earth glorifies God, the King, the Holy, the Mighty, the Wise.
62:2
He is the one who sent unto the Gentiles a messenger from them reciting to them His signs and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although they were before surely in clear error,
62:3
And others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Mighty, the Wise.
62:4
That is God's grace, He gives it to whom He wills, and God is the possessor of great grace.
62:5
The likeness of those who were charged with the Torah and then bore it not is as the likeness of the ass bearing books. Evil is the likeness of the people who say God's signs are lies. And God guides not an unjust people.
62:6
Say, 'O you who are Jews! If you claim that you are the patrons of God, besides mankind; then wish for death if you are truthful.'
62:7
But they never wish for it, because of what their hands have sent before. And God knows the wrongdoers.
62:8
Say, 'Indeed, the death from which you flee will surely meet you; then you shall be sent back to Him who knows the unseen and the seen, and He will inform you of what you used to do.'
62:9
O you who believe! When the call to prayer is made on the Day of the Congregation, then hasten to the remembrance of God, and leave trade. That is better for you, if you know.
62:10
Then when the prayer is performed, then disperse abroad in the land, and seek of God's grace; and remember God much; perhaps you may prosper.
62:11
And when they see merchandise or diversion they flock to it and leave you standing. Say, 'What is with God is better than the diversion and than the merchandise, God is the best of providers.'
