| 82:1 | | When the heaven is cleft | | 82:2 | | And when the stars fall off | | 82:3 | | And when the seas are flown away, | | 82:4 | | And when the graves are scratched, | | 82:5 | | Each soul shall then know what it has sent forth and what has been left behind. | | 82:6 | | 'O man, what has deceived you with regard to your Lord, the Noble one. | | 82:7 | | Who created you, then perfected you, and then proportioned you. | | 82:8 | | Into whatever from He willed, He fashioned you. | | 82:9 | | Nothing but you belies the judgement. | | 82:10 | | And undoubtedly, above you, are some guardians. | | 82:11 | | Honourable, scribes. | | 82:12 | | They know what you do. | | 82:13 | | Undoubtedly, the righteous are in bliss. | | 82:14 | | And undoubtedly, the evil doers are necessarily in Hell. | | 82:15 | | They shall enter it on the Day of Judgement. | | 82:16 | | And they will not be able to hide therefrom. | | 82:17 | | And what you know, what the Day of Judgement is'. | | 82:18 | | Again, what you know, what the Day of Judgement is'. | | 82:19 | | The day when no soul shall have power for any other soul. And the entire command on that day is of Allah. -The Giving Short Measure |
