| Arabic | | إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُوا لِلَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُوا مِن كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَكَانُوا عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاءَ فَلَا تَخْشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُون |  |

| the Prophets, | l-nabiyūna | النَّبِيُّونَ | ن ب ا | |
| those who | alladhīna | الَّذِينَ | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| had submitted (to Allah) | aslamū | أَسْلَمُوا | س ل م | |
| for those who | lilladhīna | لِلَّذِينَ | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| were Jews, | hādū | هَادُوا | ه و د | |
| and the Rabbis, | wal-rabāniyūna | وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ | ر ب ب | |
| and the scholars, | wal-aḥbāru | وَالْأَحْبَارُ | ح ب ر | |
| they were entrusted | us'tuḥ'fiẓū | اسْتُحْفِظُوا | ح ف ظ | |
| (the) Book | kitābi | كِتَابِ | ك ت ب | |
| (of) Allah | l-lahi | اللَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| and they were | wakānū | وَكَانُوا | ك و ن | |
| to it | ʿalayhi | عَلَيْهِ | ع ل ى | |
| witnesses. | shuhadāa | شُهَدَاءَ | ش ه د | |
| fear | takhshawū | تَخْشَوُا | خ ش ى | |
| the people | l-nāsa | النَّاسَ | ن و س | |
| but fear Me, | wa-ikh'shawni | وَاخْشَوْنِ | خ ش ى | |
| sell | tashtarū | تَشْتَرُوا | ش ر ى | |
| My Verses | biāyātī | بِءَايَاتِي | ا ى ا | |
| (for) a price, | thamanan | ثَمَنًا | ث م ن | |
| little. | qalīlan | قَلِيلًا | ق ل ل | |
| And whoever | waman | وَمَنْ | م ن | |
| has revealed | anzala | أَنْزَلَ | ن ز ل | |
| then those | fa-ulāika | فَأُولَئِكَ | ا و ل ا ء | |
| (are) the disbelievers. | l-kāfirūna | الْكَافِرُونَ | ك ف ر | |
