I observed that the Temple had a ten-and-a-half-foot-thick raised base around it, which provided a foundation for the side rooms. The outside walls of the side rooms were eight and three-quarters feet thick. The open area between the side rooms of the Temple and the priests’ rooms was a thirty-five-foot-wide strip all around the Temple. There were two entrances to the side rooms from the open area, one placed on the north side, the other on the south. There were eight and three-quarters feet of open space all around.

There were entrances into the side rooms from the open area, one entrance on the north side, one on the south. The width of the terrace bordering the open area was five cubits all around.

The outside wall of these rooms was 8 feet thick; there was one door into the rooms on the north side of the Temple, and one into those on the south side. I saw that there was a terrace 8 feet wide around the Temple; it was 10 feet above the ground and it was level with the foundation of the rooms by the Temple walls. Between the terrace and the buildings used by the priests there was an open space 34 feet across, along the sides of the Temple.

and I saw the door(s) of the side to prayer; one door to the way of the north, and one door to the way of the south; and I saw the breadth of (the) place to prayer, of five cubits in compass. (And the doors into the side chambers opened toward the unused place; one door faced north, and one door faced south; and the breadth of the unused place was five cubits all around.)

One door led into the storage rooms on the north side of the temple, and another door led to those on the south side. The stone base extended two and a half meters beyond the outside wall of the storage rooms.
