"Our Lord, we have heard a caller inviting to the faith: "Believe in your Lord," so we have believed. Our Lord forgive us our bad deeds, and forgive our sins, and let us die in the company of the righteous."

28:62

To Him belongs the knowledge regarding the Hour. And no fruit emerges from its sheath, nor does any female conceive or give birth, except by His knowledge. And on the Day He asks them: Where are My partners? They will say: With your permission, none of us will bear witness to such!

49:4

The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth." And it was called to them: "This is the Paradise; you have inherited it for what you have done."

impf. pass.

40:10
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yunādawna Lamaqtu Allāhi 'Akbaru Min Maqtikum 'Anfusakum 'Idh Tud`awna 'Ilá Al-'Īmāni Fatakfurūna

Those who had rejected will be told: The abhorrence of God towards you is greater than your abhorrence of yourselves, for you were invited to believe, but you chose to reject.

41:44
Wa Law Ja`alnāhu Qur'ānāan 'A`jamīyāan Laqālū Lawlā Fuşşilat 'Āyātuhu 'A'a`jamīyun Wa `Arabīyun Qul Huwa Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Hudáan Wa Shifā'un Wa Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Fī 'Ādhānihim Waqrun Wa Huwa `Alayhim `Amáan 'Ūlā'ika Yunādawna Min Makānin Ba`īdin

And had We made it a non-Arabic Quran, they would have said: If only its revelations were made clear! Non-Arabic and Arabic, say: For those who believe, it is a guide and healing. As for those who disbelieve, there is deafness in their ears, and they are blind to it. These will be called from a place far away.

2:171
Wa Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Kamathali Al-Ladhī Yan`iqu Bimā Lā Yasma`u 'Illā Du`ā'an Wa Nidā'an Şummun Bukmun `Umyun Fahum Lā Ya`qilūna

And the example of those who disbelieve is like one who repeats what he has heard of calls and cries; deaf, dumb, and blind, they do not comprehend.

19:3
'Idh Nādá Rabbahu Nidā'an Khafīyāan

When he called out to his Lord secretly.

pcple. act.

3:193
Rabbanā 'Innanā Sami`nā Munādīāan Yunādī Lil'īmāni 'An 'Āminū Birabbikum Fa'āmannā Rabbanā Fāghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Kaffir `Annā Sayyi'ātinā Wa Tawaffanā Ma`a Al-'Abrāri

"Our Lord, we have heard a caller inviting to the faith: "Believe in your Lord," so we have believed. Our Lord forgive us our bad deeds, and forgive our sins, and let us die in the company of the righteous."

50:41
Wa Astami` Yawma Yunādi Al-Munādi Min Makānin Qarībin

And listen to the Day when the caller will call from a near place.

vb. (6) perf. act.

68:21
Fatanādaw Muşbiĥīna

They called on one another when they awoke.

40:32
Wa Yāqawmi 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum Yawma At-Tanādi

And, O my people, I fear for you the Day of mutual blaming.
