2:22
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ فِرَاشا ً وَالسَّمَاءَ بِنَاء ً وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاء ً فَأَخْرَجَ بِه ِِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقا ً لَكُمْ فَلاَ تَجْعَلُوا لِلَّهِ أَندَادا ً وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-'ArĐa Firāshāan Wa As-Samā'a Binā'an Wa 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'akhraja Bihi Mina Ath-Thamarāti Rizqāan Lakum Falā Taj`alū Lillāhi 'Andādāan Wa 'Antum Ta`lamūna
The One who has made the earth a resting place, and the sky a shelter, and He sent down from the sky water with which He brought out fruits as a gift to you. So do not set up any equals with God while you know.
2:165
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَندَادا ً يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَشَدُّ حُبّا ً لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا إِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعا ً وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعَذَابِ
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yattakhidhu Min Dūni Allāhi 'Andādāan Yuĥibbūnahum Kaĥubbi Allāhi Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Ashaddu Ĥubbāan Lillāhi Wa Law Yará Al-Ladhīna žalamū 'Idh Yarawna Al-`Adhāba 'Anna Al-Qūwata Lillāhi Jamī`āan Wa 'Anna Allāha Shadīdu Al-`Adhābi
And from among the people are some who take other than God as equals to Him, they love them as they love God; but those who believe love God more strongly; and when those who were wicked see the retribution, they will see that all power belongs to God, and that God is severe in retribution.
14:30
وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ أَندَادا ً لِيُضِلُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِه ِِ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى النَّارِ
Wa Ja`alū Lillāhi 'Andādāan LiyuĐillū `An Sabīlihi Qul Tamatta`ū Fa'inna Maşīrakum 'Ilá An-Nāri
And they made to God equals in order that they may misguide from His path. Say: "Enjoy, for your destiny is to the Fire."
34:33
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَنْ نَكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ~ُ أَندَادا ً وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوْا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الأَغْلاَلَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna AstuĐ`ifū Lilladhīna Astakbarū Bal Makru Al-Layli Wa An-Nahāri 'Idh Ta'murūnanā 'An Nakfura Billāhi Wa Naj`ala Lahu 'Andādāan Wa 'Asarrū An-Nadāmata Lammā Ra'aw Al-`Adhāba Wa Ja`alnā Al-'Aghlāla Fī 'A`nāqi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Hal Yujzawna 'Illā Mā Kānū Ya`malūna
And those who were weak will say to those who were mighty: No, it was your scheming night and day, when you commanded us to reject God and to set up equals to Him. And they are filled with regret when they see the retribution and We will place shackles around the necks of those who rejected. Are they not being requited for what they used to do?
39:8
وَإِذَا مَسَّ الإِنسَانَ ضُرّ ٌ دَعَا رَبَّه ُُ مُنِيبا ً إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَه ُُ نِعْمَة ً مِنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادا ً لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِه ِِ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلا ً إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ
Wa 'Idhā Massa Al-'Insāna Đurrun Da`ā Rabbahu Munībāan 'Ilayhi Thumma 'Idhā Khawwalahu Ni`matan Minhu Nasiya Mā Kāna Yad`ū 'Ilayhi Min Qablu Wa Ja`ala Lillāhi 'Andādāan LiyuĐilla `An Sabīlihi Qul Tamatta` Bikufrika Qalīlāan 'Innaka Min 'Aşĥābi An-Nāri
And when man is afflicted with adversity, he implores his Lord, turning in repentance to Him. But then, when He grants him a blessing from Him, he forgets his previous imploring, and sets up equals with God, in order to mislead others from His path. Say: Enjoy your rejection for a while; for you are of the dwellers of the Fire.
41:9
قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَ الأَرْضَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُ~ُ أَندَادا ً ذَلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Qul 'A'innakum Latakfurūna Bial-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-'ArĐa Fī Yawmayni Wa Taj`alūna Lahu 'Andādāan Dhālika Rabbu Al-`Ālamīna
Say: You are rejecting the One who has created the earth in two days, and you set up equals with Him. That is the Lord of the worlds.
