Kh-Dal-Ayn
To hide/conceal, double or fold, decieve or outwit, pretend, to enter, vary in state/condition, refrain or refuse, relinquish, to be in little demand of, deviate from the right course, resist/unyield/incompliant, turn away and behave proudly.
khada'a
vb. (1) impf. act.
2:9
يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلاّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Yukhādi`ūna Allāha Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Mā Yakhda`ūna 'Illā 'Anfusahum Wa Mā Yash`urūna
They seek to deceive God and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves without noticing.
8:62
وَإِنْ يُرِيدُوا أَنْ يَخْدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ اللَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصْرِه ِِ وَبِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'In Yurīdū 'An Yakhda`ūka Fa'inna Ĥasbaka Allāhu Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Ayyadaka Binaşrihi Wa Bil-Mu'uminīna
And if they wish to deceive you, then God is sufficient for you. He is the One who supported you with His victory and with the believers.

إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُوا إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ قَامُوا كُسَالَى يُرَاءُونَ النَّاسَ وَلاَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلا ً
'Inna Al-Munāfiqīna Yukhādi`ūna Allāha Wa Huwa Khādi`uhum Wa 'Idhā Qāmū 'Ilá Aş-Şalāati Qāmū Kusālá Yurā'ūna An-Nāsa Wa Lā Yadhkurūna Allāha 'Illā Qalīlāan
The hypocrites seek to deceive God, while He is deceiving them; and if they stand to make the contact prayer, they do so lazily, only to show the people; they do not remember God except very little.
