3:121
وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيم ٌ
Wa 'Idh Ghadawta Min 'Ahlika Tubawwi'u Al-Mu'uminīna Maqā`ida Lilqitāli Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun

Remember when you departed from your family to prepare for the believers their stations for battle, and God is Hearer, Knowledgeable.

68:25
وَغَدَوْا عَلَى حَرْد ٍ قَادِرِينَ
Waghadaw `Alá Ĥardin Qādirīna

And they went, ready to harvest.

68:22
أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَى حَرْثِكُمْ إِنْ كُنتُمْ صَارِمِينَ
'Ani Aghdū `Alá Ĥarthikum 'In Kuntum Şārimīna

Let us go this morning to harvest the crop.

أَرْسِلْهُ مَعَنَا غَدا ً يَرْتَعْ وَيَلْعَبْ وَإِنَّا لَه ُُ لَحَافِظُونَ
'Arsilhu Ma`anā Ghadāan Yarta` Wa Yal`ab Wa 'Innā Lahu Laĥāfižūna

"Send him with us tomorrow to enjoy himself and play, and we will take care of him."

18:23
وَلاَ تَقُولَنَّ لِشَيْء ٍ إِنِّي فَاعِل ٌ ذَلِكَ غَدا ً
Wa Lā Taqūlanna Lishay'in 'Innī Fā`ilun Dhālika Ghadāan

And do not simply say of something: "I will do this tomorrow."

31:34
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَه ُُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الأَرْحَامِ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْس ٌ مَاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدا ً وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْس ٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْض ٍ تَمُوتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِير ٌ
'Inna Allāha `Indahu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa Yunazzilu Al-Ghaytha Wa Ya`lamu Mā Fī Al-'Arĥāmi Wa Mā Tadrī Nafsun Mādhā Taksibu Ghadāan Wa Mā Tadrī Nafsun Bi'ayyi 'ArĐin Tamūtu 'Inna Allāha `Alīmun Khabīrun

With God is the knowledge regarding the Hour. And He sends down the rain, and He knows what is inside the wombs. No soul knows what it may gain tomorrow, nor does any soul know in which land it will die. God is Knowledgeable, Expert.

54:26
سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدا ً مَنِ الْكَذَّابُ الأَشِرُ
Saya`lamūna Ghadāan Mani Al-Kadhdhābu Al-'Ashiru

They will find out tomorrow who the evil liar is.

59:18
يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلْتَنْظُرْ نَفْس ٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَد ٍ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِير ٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Attaqū Allāha Wa Ltanžur Nafsun Mā Qaddamat Lighadin Wa Attaqū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna

O you who believe, be aware of God, and let every soul examine what it has put forth for tomorrow. And be aware of God; for God is fully aware of everything you do.

فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا قَالَ لِفَتَاهُ آتِنَا غَدَاءَنَا لَقَدْ لَقِينَا مِنْ سَفَرِنَا هَذَا نَصَبا ً
Falammā Jāwazā Qāla Lifatāhu 'Ātinā Ghadā'anā Laqad Laqīnā Min Safarinā Hādhā Naşabāan

And when they passed further on, he said to his youth: "Bring us our lunch; we have found much fatigue in this journey of ours."

وَلاَ تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَه ُُ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Wa Lā Taţrudi Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Rabbahum Bil-Ghadāati Wa Al-`Ashīyi Yurīdūna Wajhahu Mā `Alayka Min Ĥisābihim Min Shay'in Wa Mā Min Ĥisābika `Alayhim Min Shay'in Fataţrudahum Fatakūna Mina Až-žālimīna

And do not turn away those who call on their Lord at dawn and dusk seeking His face; you are not responsible for their judgment, nor are they responsible for your judgment; if you turn them away, then you will be of the wicked.

18:28
وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَه ُُ وَلاَ تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلاَ تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَه ُُ عَنْ ذِكْرِنَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاه ُُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُه ُُ فُرُطا ً
Wa Aşbir Nafsaka Ma`a Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Rabbahum Bil-Ghadāati Wa Al-`Ashīyi Yurīdūna Wajhahu Wa Lā Ta`du `Aynāka `Anhum Turīdu Zīnata Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Lā Tuţi` Man 'Aghfalnā Qalbahu `An Dhikrinā Wa Attaba`a Hawāhu Wa Kāna 'Amruhu Furuţāan

And have patience upon yourself regarding those who call on their Lord at dawn and dusk seeking His face, and let not your eyes overlook them that you seek the beauty of this worldly life. And do not obey he whom We have made his heart heedless of Our remembrance and he followed his desire, and his fate was lost.

7:205
وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعا ً وَخِيفَة ً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالآصَالِ وَلاَ تَكُنْ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ
Wa Adhkur Rabbaka Fī Nafsika TaĐarru`āan Wa Khīfatan Wa Dūna Al-Jahri Mina Al-Qawli Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli Wa Lā Takun Mina Al-Ghāfilīna

And remember your Lord within yourself, in humility and in reverence; and without loudness in words, during the morning and the evening. And do not be of the careless ones.

13:15
وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ طَوْعا ً وَكَرْها ً وَظِلاَلُهُمْ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالآصَالِ
Wa Lillahi Yasjudu Man Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐi Ţaw`āan Wa Karhāan Wa žilāluhum Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli

And to God will prostrate all who are in the heavens and the earth, willingly and unwillingly, as do their shadows in the morning and the evening.

24:36
فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُه ُُ يُسَبِّحُ لَه ُُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالآصَالِ
Fī Buyūtin 'Adhina Allāhu 'An Turfa`a Wa Yudhkara Fīhā Asmuhu Yusabbiĥu Lahu Fīhā Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli

In homes that God has permitted to be raised, and His name mentioned in them. He is glorified therein in the mornings and the evenings.

34:12
وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْر ٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْر ٌ وَأَسَلْنَا لَه ُُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّه ِِ وَمَنْ يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ
Wa Lisulaymāna Ar-Rīĥa Ghudūwuhā Shahrun Wa Rawāĥuhā Shahrun Wa 'Asalnā Lahu `Ayna Al-Qiţri Wa Mina Al-Jinni Man Ya`malu Bayna Yadayhi Bi'idhni Rabbihi Wa Man Yazigh Minhum `An 'Amrinā Nudhiqhu Min `Adhābi As-Sa`īri

And for Solomon the wind was given, traveling one month coming and one month going, and We caused a spring of tar to flow for him. And from among the Jinn are those that worked for him with the permission of his Lord; and any one of them who turns from Our commands, We shall cause him to taste the retribution of the Fire.

40:46
النَّارُ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا غُدُوّا ً وَعَشِيّا ً وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ أَدْخِلُوا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَشَدَّ الْعَذَابِ
An-Nāru Yu`raĐūna `Alayhā Ghudūwāan Wa `Ashīyāan Wa Yawma Taqūmu As-Sā`atu 'Adkhilū 'Āla Fir`awna 'Ashadda Al-`Adhābi

The Fire, which they will be exposed to morning and evening, and on the Day when the Hour is established: Admit the people of Pharaoh into the most severe of the retribution.
