THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" Say: "Verily, knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer alone. None but He will reveal it in its time. Heavily will it weigh on the heavens and the earth; [and] it will not fall upon you otherwise than of a sudden." They will ask thee - as if thou couldst gain insight into this [mystery] by dint of persistent inquiry! Say: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer alone; but [of this] most people are unaware."

They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the Hour, “When will it be?” Say, “That knowledge is only with my Lord. He alone will reveal it when the time comes. It is too tremendous for the heavens and the earth and will only take you by surprise.” They ask you as if you had full knowledge of it. Say, “That knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know.”

They will ask you [Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come?" Say, "Knowledge of this rests with my Lord along. Only He will reveal it in its time. It will weigh heavily on the heavens and the earth [and] it will fall upon you suddenly." They will continually ask you, as if you could gain insight into this [mystery]. Say, "Knowledge of this rests with my Lord alone but most people are unaware [of this]."

yasalūnaka ʿani l-sāʿati ayyāna mur'sāhā qul innamā ʿil'muhā ʿinda rabbī lā yujallīhā liwaqtihā illā huwa thaqulat fī l-samāwāti wal-arḍi lā tatīkum illā baghtatan yasalūnaka ka-annaka ḥafiyyun ʿanhā qul innamā ʿil'muhā ʿinda l-lahi walākinna akthara l-nāsi lā yaʿlamūn

They ask you about the Hour, when will be its appointed time? Say, "Only its knowledge (is) with my Lord, no (one) can reveal [it] its time except Him. It lays heavily in the heavens and the earth. Not will it come to you but suddenly." They ask you as if you (were) well informed about it. Say, "Only its knowledge (is) with Allah, but most (of) the people (do) not know."

They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not."

They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the Hour, “When will it be?” Say, “That knowledge is only with my Lord. He alone will reveal it when the time comes. It is too tremendous for the heavens and the earth and will only take you by surprise.” They ask you as if you had full knowledge of it. Say, “That knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know.”

They will put questions to you as though you had full knowledge of it. Say, Knowledge about it rests only with God, though most people do not realize it

They ask you about the hour, when will be its taking place? Say: The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He shall manifest it at its time; it will be momentous in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but of a sudden. They ask you as if you were solicitous about it. Say: Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know

They ask thee about the Hour, when will it berth? Say: The knowledge of that is only with my Lord. None will display its time but He. It was heavy, hidden in the heavens and the earth. It will approach you not but suddenly. They will ask thee as if thou hadst been one who is well-informed about it. Say: The knowledge of that is only with God, but most of humanity knows not.

They may ask you about the Hour: "When will it arrive?´ SAY "Knowledge about it rests only with my Lord; He Alone will disclose it time. Things will seem heavy in Heaven and Earth; it will simply come upon you all of a sudden!" They will even ask you as if you yourself were anxious about it. SAY ´Knowledge about it rests only with God, though most people do not realize it."

They ask you (O Muhammad) about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): “When will be its appointed time?” Say: “Its knowledge is only with my Lord (alone). None can disclose its time but He. It will weigh heavy in the heavens and the earth. It shall not come to you but suddenly.” They ask you as if you are very knowledgeable about it. Say: “Only its knowledge is with Allah (alone) but most people don’t know.”

They question thee about the Hour, when it will set in. Say, “Knowledge thereof lies only with my Lord. None save He shall manifest it at its proper time. Heavy shall it weigh upon the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you but suddenly.” They question thee as if thou knew it well. Say, “Knowledge thereof lies only with God, but most of mankind know not.

They ask you about the Hour, “When will it arrive?” Respond, “The knowledge of it lies only with my Lord. Only He will reveal it when its time comes. It hangs heavily in the heavens and the earth, and it will come upon you only unexpectedly.” They ask you as if you are privy to it. Say, “Only God possesses knowledge of it, yet most people are unaware.”

They ask you about the Hour, 'When will it come?' Say, 'Knowledge of it rests with my Lord. None can reveal its coming except He. It weighs heavily on the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except suddenly.' They ask you as if you are responsible for it. Say, 'Knowledge of it rests with God,' but most people do not know

They put a query to you about the Hour: “When does its appointed time come?” Say: “Definitely it is that the knowledge thereof is with my Nourisher-Sustainer. None makes it manifest in accordance with its (fixed) time except He. It stood as a very extreme incident in the heavens and the earth. It shall not approach you people but all of a sudden.” They ask you as if you are well informed about it in advance. Say: “Definitely it is that its knowledge is with Allah (Alone), but most of mankind know not.”

They ask you about the Hour of Doom and when will it take place. Say: "Knowledge about it rests only with my Lord: He Himself will disclose it at the proper time. Heavy is its weight in the heavens and the earth. It will not come gradually but all of a sudden. They ask you as if you yourself were in search of it. Tell them: "The knowledge about it rests only with Allah though most people do not understand."

They ask you concerning the Hour, when it will have its anchorage. (i.e., when it will take place) Say, "Surely the knowledge of it is only in the Providence of my Lord; none will manifest it at its (proper) time except He. It is heavy in the heavens and the earth. It will not come up to you except suddenly!" They ask you, as if you were thoroughly (acquainted) with it. Say, "Surely the knowledge of it is only in the Providence of Allah, but most of mankind do not know."

They ask you (Muhammad), "When will the Day of Judgment be?" Tell them, "My Lord knows best. It is He who has appointed its time. It will be a grave hour both in the heavens and the earth. It will only approach you suddenly." They say, "It seems that you know about the coming of the Day of Judgment." Tell them, "Only God knows about it and most people do not know."

They ask you about the Hour (i.e. the Doomsday), .When is it due to happen?. Say, .Its knowledge is only with my Lord. No one can unfold it except He at its time. It shall weigh heavy in the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you but suddenly. They ask you as if you were aware of it. Say, .Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most of the people do not know

(They even venture into predicting the end of the world.) They ask you (O Messenger), about the Hour, when the end of the world will come to pass. Say, "That knowledge is only with my Lord. He alone will manifest it at the appropriate time. Heavy it is in the heavens and the earth. It will come upon you suddenly." They ask you as if you could gain insight into this mystery with persistent inquiry. Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah only. But most people do not know that even Messengers were not given this knowledge."

They ask you about the hour (of Judgment), "When will it occur?" Say, "In fact, the knowledge of that rests with my Lord. No one but He can disclose its time. It is an event of utmost gravity in the heavens and the earth. It will creep up on you suddenly." They ask you as if you are well aware of its time (of occurrence). Say, "Allah (alone) knows the time of its occurrence." But most people (just) do not know

They ask you about the (final) Hour, (Resurrection)— When is its appointed time? Say: "Its knowledge is with my Lord (alone): No one except He can say when it will happen. Its burden was heavy through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden it will come to you." They ask you as if you were eager in search of it: Say: "Its knowledge is with Allah (alone), but most men do not know."

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah , but most of the people do not know."

They ask you regarding the Hour: "When will be its time" Say: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, none can reveal its coming except Him. It is heavy through the heavens and the Earth; it will not come to you except suddenly." They ask you, as if you are responsible for it! Say: "Its knowledge is with God, but most people do not know."

They ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, ‘When will it happen?’ Say, ‘My Lord alone has knowledge of it: He alone will reveal when its time will come, a time that is momentous in both the heavens and earth. All too suddenly it will come upon you.’ They ask you about it as if you were eager [to find out]. Say, ‘God alone has knowledge of [when it will come], though most people do not realize it.’

They ask thee concerning the Hour, when will its coming be? Say thou: knowledge thereof is with my Lord only: none shall disclose it at its time buthe; heavy it is in the heavens and the earth; it shall not come upon you except on a sudden. They ask thee as though thou wert familiar therewith. Say thou: knowledge thereof is with Allah only; but most of men know not

They ask you about the Hour: "When is its determined time?" Say: "Only my Lord has the knowledge. No one can reveal it except He. Oppressive will it be for the heavens and the earth. When it comes, it will come unawares." They ask you about it as if you were in the know. You tell them: "Only God has the knowledge." But most people do not know

They will ask you about the Hour: when is it due? Say: ´Knowledge of it rests with my Lord alone. He alone will reveal it at its proper time. It hangs heavy in the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except suddenly.´ They will ask you as if you had full knowledge of it. Say: ´Knowledge of it rests with Allah alone. But most people do not know that.´

They ask you about the Hour, when it will come to anchor. Say: "It is my Lord alone Who knows it; none will disclose it in its time but He. It weighs heavily on the heavens and the earth. It does not come to you except unawares." They ask you as if you (being a Messenger required or meant that you) were well-informed of it. Say: "It is indeed God alone Who knows it, but most people have no knowledge (of this)."

They question you concerning the Hour, when will it set in? Say, ‘Its knowledge is only with my Lord: none except Him shall manifest it at its time. It will weigh heavy on the heavens and the earth. It will not overtake you but suddenly.’ They ask you as if you were in the know of it. Say, ‘Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know.’

They will ask you about the (final) Hour, for what time it is fixed? - Say, "The knowledge thereof is only with my Lord; none shall manifest it at its time but He. Heavy is its burden in the heavens and the earth. It will come to you suddenly and un

They ask you about the Hour: “When is its anchoring (arrival)?” Say: “Its knowledge is only with my Lord, He will only expose it at its time, it is heavy on the skies and on the earth, it only comes to you suddenly.” They ask you as if you are well informed about it! Say: “Its knowledge is only with God, but most people do not know (this).”

They ask you about the Hour, when will be its appointed time? Say, “The knowledge of it is with my Lord. None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy will be its burden through the heavens and the earth. All of a sudden it will come to you.” They ask you as if you were eager in search of it. Say, “The knowledge of it is with God." But most understand not

They ask you about the Final Hour, “When will it come?” Tell them: “My Lord alone knows it; except for Him, no one can reveal its timing. However, it hangs heavy in the Heavens and Earth and will come to you suddenly.” They ask you as though you were thoroughly acquainted with it. Say: “Knowledge of it rests with my Lord alone,” but most people are ignorant of that fact

They ask you concerning the Hour, when will its coming be? Say: ´The knowledge of it is with my Lord alone: none but He will disclose it at its time. That will weigh heavily on the heavens and the earth; and it shall not come to you other than all of a sudden.´ They ask you - as if you are eagerly inquisitive about it - concerning it. Say to them: ´The knowledge of it is with none except Allah. But most people are unaware of this reality.´

They ask you regarding the Hour: "When will be its time?" Say: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, none can reveal its coming except He. It is heavy through the heavens and the earth; it will not come to you except suddenly." They ask you, as if you are responsible for it! Say: "Its knowledge is with God, but most of the people do not know."

They ask you [Prophet] about the Hour (the time when the present world will end and the Hereafter begin), "When is it coming?" Say, "The knowledge of it is only with my Lord. None but He shall manifest it at its time; it will be a hard time in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but of a sudden." They ask you as if you were well-informed about it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people know not."

They ask you concerning the Hour that when it is to come, Say you 'the knowledge of it is only with my Lord, He alone will disclose it at its proper time'. It is lying heavy on the heavens and earth; it shall not come upon you but of a sudden. They ask you, as you have already investigated it well say you, 'the knowledge of it is only with Allah', but most people do not know.

They ask you about the end of the world (the Hour), and when it will come to pass. Say, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord. Only He reveals its time. Heavy it is, in the heavens and the earth. It will not come to you except suddenly." They ask you as if you are in control thereof. Say, "The knowledge thereof is with GOD," but most people do not know.

They ask you about the Hour and when it is to come. Say: 'None knows except my Lord. He alone will reveal it at the appointed time. It is heavy in the heavens and earth. It will not come to you but suddenly. ' They will question you, as though you had full knowledge of it. Say: 'Its knowledge is with Allah, though most people are unaware.

They ask thee about the Hour, when will it come to pass? Say: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord only. None but He will manifest it at its time. It is momentous in the heavens and the earth. It will not come to you but of a sudden. They ask thee as if thou wert solicitous about it. Say: Its knowledge is with Allah only, but most people know not

They ask/question you about the Hour/Resurrection , when (is) its anchor/landing , say: "But its knowledge (is) at my Lord, not (no one) uncovers/reveals it to its time except He, (it) became heavy in the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, (it) does not come to you except suddenly/unexpectantly." They ask/question you, as (though) you (are) well acquainted/asking persistently (knowledgeable) about it, say: "But its knowledge (is) at God, and but most of the people do not know ."

They ask you when the world will end; say: "Only God knows and He will disclose it at the proper time. It will be too heavy of a burden for the universe to stand it and will happen all of a sudden." They approach you presuming that you have knowledge about this subject. Say: "Only God knows it but most people do not realize it [and recourse to all kind of fortune tellers to find it!]"

They ask you about the Resurrection, as to when it is destined; say, "Indeed its knowledge is with my Lord; only He will manifest it at its time; it is proving cumbersome in the heavens and the earth; it will not come to you except suddenly"; they question you as if you have researched it deeply; say, "Indeed its knowledge is with Allah only but most people do not know."

They ask thee about the Hour; `When it will come to pass?' Say, `The knowledge thereof is only with my Lord. None can manifest it at its time but HE. It lies heavy on the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you but of a sudden.' They ask thee as if thou were well-acquainted therewith. Say, `The knowledge thereof is only with ALLAH; but most men do not know.

These (disbelievers) ask you about the Last Hour: ‘When will it take place?’ Say: ‘Knowledge of it rests with my Lord alone; none but He (Allah) will manifest it at its (appointed) time. It is (seemingly) heavy on (the inhabitants of) the heavens and the earth (due to the horror of its adversities and intensities). It will occur to you all of a sudden (accidentally).’ They ask you (in such a manner) as if you are engaged in its pursuit! Say: ‘Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know (this fact).

They ask you about the Hour, when it will come to pass. Say, `Surely, the knowledge thereof is with my Lord. He alone will reveal it at its proper time. It shall be heavy on the heavens and on the earth. It shall not come upon you but all of a sudden.' They ask you (about it) as if you were curiously solicitous about it (from Allah). Say, `The knowledge of it is only with Allah, but most people do not know (this fact).

They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone) but most of mankind know not."

They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. Say: 'The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none shall reveal it at its proper time, but He. Heavy is it in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but suddenly!' They will question thee, as though thou art well-informed of it. Say: 'The knowledge of it is only with God, but most men know not.

They ask thee about the Hour; 'When it will come to pass?' Say, 'The knowledge thereof is only with my Lord. None can manifest it at its time but He. It lies heavy on the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you but of a sudden.' They ask thee as if thou were well-acquainted therewith. Say, 'The knowledge thereof is only with God; but most men do not know.

SAY: The knowledge of it is only with my Lord: none shall manifest it in its time but He: it is the burden of the Heavens and of the Earth: not otherwise than on a sudden will it come on you. They will ask thee as if thou wast privy to it: SAY: The knowledge of it is with none but God. But most men know not this

They ask you about the Hour: when will it come? Say: ‘None but my Lord has knowledge of it.² Only He will reveal it ― at the appointed time. A fateful hour shall it be, both in the heavens and on earth. It will but suddenly overtake you.‘ They will put questions to you as though you were privy to it. Say: ‘Only God has knowledge of it, but the greater part of mankind do not know this.‘

They ask you about the hour when shall it hail its final port. Say, “The knowledge of it is only with my Lord. No one else will make it manifest at its appointed time except He” It has become heavy in the heavens and in the earth. It will not come upon you except by surprise. They ask you about it as though you are keen about it. Say, “Its knowledge is only with Allah but most people do not know.”

They ask you about the Hour: "When it will come to pass?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is only with my Lord. None can manifest its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you were well-acquainted therewith. Say: "The knowledge thereof is only with Allâh. But most people do not know.”

They ask you about the hour, for when is it fixed? Say: knowledge about it is with my Lord, nobody discloses it at its time but He; it is heavy in the heavens and the earth; it does not come upon you but suddenly. They ask you as if you were informed of it. Say: knowledge about it is with Allah but most people do not know.

They ask you about the [final] hour and when it will come. Say, “The knowledge of that is with my Lord. Only He can reveal when it will come. Its burden is heavy throughout the skies and Earth. It will not come to you except suddenly.” They ask you as if you were informed about it. Say, “The knowledge about it is only with Allah, but most people do not understand.”

They ask you about the Hour, “When will it take place?” Say, “Knowledge of it rests with my Lord; none can reveal its coming except He. Heavy has its weight become throughout the heavens and the earth. It comes not upon you except suddenly.” They ask you as if you are responsible for it. Say, “Surely, knowledge of it but rests with Allah,” though most of mankind do not know.

They may ask you about the Hour (the Day of Judgement): "When will it arrive?' SAY "Knowledge about it rests only with my Lord; He Alone will disclose its time. It is momentous [and unknown] to Heaven and Earth [‘s creatures]; it will simply come upon you all of a sudden!" They will even ask you as if you yourself were anxious about it. They ask you about the Last Hour: “When will it come to pass?” Say: Knowledge of it rests with my Lord alone. None but He will reveal it at its appointed time. It will weigh heavily on the heavens and the earth; and it will not fall on you except suddenly. They will ask you further as if you yourself persistently enquire about it. Say: Knowledge of it rests with God alone, though most people remain unaware.

They ask you, “When will that hour arrive?”... Say, “Its knowledge is only with my Rabb... HU is the One who will reveal it when it is time! (Concepts such as time, place, object, and person cannot be conceived in regards to that reflection)... It weighs heavy on the heavens and the earth... It will come to you unexpectedly.” They ask you as if you know it (through experience)... Say, “Its knowledge is with Allah alone... But the majority of the people do not know.”

They ask you about the Hour (of Resurrection) when it will set in. Say: ' Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None but He can manifest it at its time. Heavy is it in the heavens and the earth. It will not overtake you but suddenly'. They ask you, as if you were well-informed of it. Say: ' The knowledge of it is only with Allah, but most people do not know '

The infidels insolently call upon you O Muhammad for information relative to the point of time at which the predetermined Eventful Hour of Judgment takes place! Say to them: " it is only Allah alone Who knows when, He alone has the rightful claim to the knowledge of the how and when of here and Hereafter; no one reveals it when due but Him as His word prompts". "It weighs quite heavily on the heavens and all those within and on the earth and the hopes of all those therein, and the encounter with it is simply a sudden start of a surprise". They ask you about it as if you are anxious to know the how and when and as a result you have been informed. Say to them: " Rest assured that it is only Allah alone Who does know when, but most people do not realize this fact"

They ask you about the hour (of doom), when will it be anchored? * Say, "The knowledge of it is only with my Fosterer, it will not be unveiled at its appointed time by anyone except Him. It will be heavy (probably having high gravity) in the skies and the earth, it will not come on you but of a sudden." They ask you as If you were in search of its knowledge. Say, "The knowledge of it is with Allah only but the majority of mankind does not know." * Befall

They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you."
