61:1  Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth has existed in expression of the most beautiful attributes of Allah. HE is the Almighty, All-Wise.

61:2  O you who have embraced Faith, why do you say what you do not do?

61:3  Immensely abhorrent in the sight of Allah is that you say what you do not do.

61:4  Surely, Allah loves those who fight in HIS way as one column, as if they were a unitized structure.

61:5  And [remember] when Moses said to his people, “O my people why do you annoy me whereas you already know that I am the messenger of Allah unto you?” So then, when they did swerve [from the Truth], Allah swerved their hearts. Allah does not guide the iniquitous people.

61:6  And [remember] when Jesus, son of Mary, said, “O children of Israel, I am the messenger of Allah unto you, as a validator for what is before me of the Torah and as a herald bearing news of a messenger who is to come after me. His name is Ahmad.” So in turn, when he came to them with the telling proofs, they said, “This is obvious magic.”

61:7  And who does more wrong than one who invents the lie against Allah, while he is being called to Islam? Allah does not guide the people who persist in doing wrong.

61:8  They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah is a perfecter of HIS Light— even though the disbelievers be averse.

61:9  HE is WHO sent HIS messenger with Guidance and a religion of the Truth, so HE may make it prevail over the [man-made] religion— every aspect of it, even though the polytheists be averse.

61:10  O you who have embraced Faith, shall I direct you to a trade which will save you from a painful suffering?

61:11  Keep faith in Allah and HIS messenger and keep striving in the way of Allah with your wealth and lives. That is best for you, if you were to know—

61:12  HE will forgive your trespasses and admit you to gardens with streams flowing subservient to them and to pristine abodes in the Gardens of Eden— transcendent success, such as that!

61:13  And another which you will love— help from Allah and an imminent victory. Convey the divine tiding to the believers.

61:14  O you who have embraced Faith, be helpers of Allah— just as what was asked of the white-garbed ones by Jesus, son of Mary: “Who will be my helpers unto Allah?” Said the white-garbed ones, “We are helpers of Allah.” Then a faction from the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. WE then aided the ones who believed against their enemy, and so they became the torchbearers.
