55:1  The Merciful
55:2  taught the Qur'an
55:3  He created man
55:4  taught him plain speech
55:5  The sun and the moon have their appointed time
55:6  The herbs and the trees adore
55:7  And the heavens, He raised them and set the balance
55:8  that ye should not be outrageous in the balance
55:9  But weigh ye aright, and stint not the balance
55:10  And the earth He has set it for living creatures
55:11  therein are fruits and palms, with sheaths
55:12  and grain with chaff and frequent shoots
55:13  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:14  He created men of crackling clay like the potters
55:15  And He created the ginn from smokeless fire
55:16  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:17  The Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests
55:18  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:19  He has let loose the two seas that meet together
55:20  between them is a barrier they cannot pass
55:21  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:22  He brings forth from each pearls both large and small
55:23  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:24  His are the ships which rear aloft in the sea like mountains
55:25  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:26  Every one upon it is transient
55:27  but the face of thy Lord endowed with majesty and honour shall endure
55:28  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:29  Of Him whosoever is in the heaven and the earth does beg; every day He is in (some fresh) business
55:30  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:31  We shall be at leisure for you, O ye two weighty ones
55:32  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:33  O assembly of ginns and mankind! if ye are able to pass through the confines of heaven and earth then pass through them!- ye cannot pass through save by authority
55:34  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:35  There shall be sent against you a flash or fire, and molten copper, and ye shall not be helped
55:36  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:37  And when the heaven is rent asunder and become rosy red - (melting) like grease
55:38  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:39  On that day neither man nor ginn shall be asked about his crime
55:40  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:41  The sinners shall be known by their marks, and shall be seized by the forelock and the feet
55:42  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:43  'This is hell, which the sinners did call a lie
55:44  they shall circulate between it and water boiling quite!
55:45  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:46  But for him who fears the station of his Lord are gardens twain
55:47  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:48  Both furnished with branching trees
55:49  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:50  In each are flowing springs
55:51  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:52  In each are, of every fruit, two kinds
55:53  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:54  Reclining on beds the linings of which are of brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens within reach to cull
55:55  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:56  Therein are maids of modest glances whom no man nor ginn has deflowered before
55:57  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:58  As though they were rubies and pearls
55:59  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:60  Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness
55:61  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:62  And besides these, are gardens twain
55:63  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:64  With dark green foliage
55:65  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:66  In each two gushing springs
55:67  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:68  In each fruit and palms and pomegranates
55:69  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:70  In them maidens best and fairest
55:71  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:72  Bright and large-eyed maids kept in their tents
55:73  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:74  Whom no man nor ginn has deflowered before them
55:75  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:76  Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets
55:77  Then which of your Lord's bounties will ye twain deny
55:78  Blessed be the name of thy Lord possessed of majesty and honour
