those who eagerly listen to any falsehood, greedily swallowing all that is evil! Hence, if they come to thee [for judgment], thou mayest either judge between them or leave them alone: for, if thou leave them alone, they cannot harm thee in any way. But if thou dost judge, judge between them with equity: verily, God knows those who act equitably

Listeners to [the] falsehood, devourers of the forbidden. So if they come to you then judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them, then never will they harm you (in) anything. And if you judge, then judge between them with [the] justice. Indeed, Allah loves the ones who are just.

Listeners for the sake of falsehood! Greedy for illicit gain! If then they have recourse unto thee (Muhammad) judge between them or disclaim jurisdiction. If thou disclaimest jurisdiction, then they cannot harm thee at all. But if thou judgest, judge between them with equity. Lo! Allah loveth the equitable

(They are fond of) listening to falsehood, of devouring anything forbidden. If they do come to thee, either judge between them, or decline to interfere. If thou decline, they cannot hurt thee in the least. If thou judge, judge in equity between them. For Allah loveth those who judge in equity

They are ones who hearken to lies, the ones who devour the wrongful. Then, if they drew near thee, then, give thou judgment between them or turn aside from them. And if thou hast turned aside from them, then, they will never injure thee at all. And if thou hadst given judgment, then, give judgment between them with equity. Truly, God loves the ones who act justly.

as listeners to lying, living off graft. If they should come to you, then judge between them or else put them off. If you put them off, they will never harm you in any way, while if you judge among them, then judge fairly. God loves those who deal fairly.

They are listeners to falsehood, devourers of forbidden earnings. If they come to you (O Muhammad), then either judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, then they will never harm you anything. If you judge, then judge between them with justice. Surely, Allah loves the just.

Those who listen to lies, and consume what is unlawful—if they come to thee, then judge between them, or turn away from them. If thou turnest away from them, they will not harm thee in the least. But if thou judgest, judge between them with justice. Truly God loves the just

Shrewd listeners of falsehood, devourers of what’s unlawful. If they come to you, either judge between them or turn away from them. If you turn away, they can’t harm you at all. But if you judge, judge between them with justice. God loves those who act justly.

Listeners to falsehoods, eaters of illicit earnings. If they come to you, judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they will not harm you in the least. But if you judge, judge between them equitably. God loves the equitable

Listeners to falsehood, devourers of filth. Then if they approached you (for any opinion), so decide amongst them or avoid them. And if you avoid them, they shall never hurt you in the least. And if you judged, then give decision amongst them based on justice. Verily, Allah loves those who act justly

That is because they listen to falsehood and eat what is forbidden. Therefore, if they come to you with their cases, you may judge between them or refuse to do so. Even if you refuse, they will not be able to harm you the least, but if you do act as a judge, judge between them with fairness, for Allah loves those who judge with fairness

Constant listeners to lies, constant eaters of illicit gain, so in case they come to you, then judge between them or veer away from them; and in case you veer away from them, then they will never harm you anything; and in case you judge, then judge with equity between them. Surely Allah loves the equitable

They deliberately listen to lies (for deceitful purposes) and live on usury. If they come to you (seeking your judgment to settle their differences), you may settle their disputes or keep aloof from them. Should you choose not to bother with them, it will not harm you in the least. If you decide to issue your decree, decide their case with justice. God loves those who are just

They are listeners to the fallacy, devourers of the unlawful. So, if they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they can do you no harm. But if you judge, judge between them with justice. Surely, Allah loves those who do justice

They are upholders of falsehood and they make wealth by unfair means. They get bribed into spying. If they come to you asking to judge among them, the choice to accept or reject their request is yours. You have the right to disclaim jurisdiction since they have not yet accepted the Qur'an and they have the Torah. If you disclaim jurisdiction they cannot harm you at all. However, if you decide to judge among them, do so equitably. Allah loves the equitable

They listen (and spy) merely to lie, and they eat (and live off) the forbidden things! If they come to you and ask you to arbitrate matters concerning them, you may do so, or decline. They cannot harm you a bit if you ignore them. However, if you opt to decide their disputes, then be fair and equitable. Indeed, Allah loves those who are just

(They are fond of) listening to lies, (and) of consuming anything (that is) forbidden. If they come to you, either judge between them, or refuse to interfere. They are people who listen to lies and consume ill-gotten gains. If they come to you, you can either judge between them or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they cannot harm you in any way. But if you do judge, judge between them justly. Allah loves the just.

Listening out for lies and falsehood eagerly, and consuming unlawful earnings greedily! If they come to you (for judgment), you may either judge between them or turn away from them (and decline to give judgment). If you turn away from them, they cannot harm you in any way. But if you judge, judge between them with equity and justice. Surely God loves the scrupulously equitable

Eavesdroppers with the aim of [telling] lies, eaters of the unlawful —if they come to you, judge between them, or disregard them. If you disregard them, they will not harm you in any way. But if you judge, judge between them with justice. Indeed Allah loves the just

They are listeners to falsehood, eaters of unlawful things! But if they come to you, then judge between them or ignore them. If you turn aside from them they shall not harm you at all, but if you judge, then judge between them with justice, for verily, A

They listen to lies and they eat up illegal possessions. So, if they come to you, then judge between them or stay away from them, and if you stay away from them, they will never harm you a bit. And if you judge, then judge between them with justice. God likes the just people.

They are habitual listeners of lies, great devourers of the things forbidden. So if they come to you, then judge between them or turn your face from them, and if you will turn your face from them, they shall not harm you at all. And if you judge between them then judge with justice. Undoubtedly, Allah likes the just.

They are upholders of lies, and eaters of illicit earnings. If they come to you to judge among them, you may judge among them, or you may disregard them. If you choose to disregard them, they cannot harm you in the least. But if you judge among them, you shall judge equitably. GOD loves those who are equitable.

(They are) often listening/hearing to the lie/falsehood, gluttons/eating exaggeratedly to the forbidden/possession through cheatery , so if they came to you, so judge/rule between them or turn away from them, and if you turn away from them, so they will never/not harm you (in) a thing, and if you judged/ruled, so judge/rule between them with the just/equitable, that God loves/likes the just/equitable

They [and their judges] are accustomed to appreciate listening to the falsehood and devour the forbidden [such as bribe.] If they bring their cases to you [as the head of the state and them most just man in the Arabian Peninsula], you may judge between them or refuse to do so and they cannot harm you in any manner. If you judge among them, be fair as God loves those who are just

The excessively eager listeners of falsehood, extreme devourers of the forbidden; so if they come humbly to you (Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him), judge between them or shun them; and if you turn away from them they cannot harm you at all; and if you do judge between them, judge with fairness; indeed Allah loves the equitable

They are eager listeners to falsehood, devourers of things forbidden. If, then, they come to thee for judgment, judge between them or turn aside from them. And if thou turn aside from them, they cannot harm thee at all. And if thou judge, judge between them with justice. Surely ALLAH loves those who are just

(They are) the ones who spy to coin lies. (Moreover,) they voraciously devour unlawful wealth and property. If they approach you (with a dispute for judgment), then it is (up to) you whether to judge between them or decline. And if you opt to keep away from them, (even then) they are incapable of doing you any harm, and if you judge, then judge between them (too but) with justice (i.e., their enmity should not restrain judgment based on justice). Undoubtedly, Allah loves those who do justice

(They are) habitual listeners to falsehood, too much given to eat things forbidden. If they come to you (seeking your judgment) judge between them or turn aside from them. If you turn aside from them, they shall do you no harm at all. But if you judge, then judge between them with justice, for surely Allah loves the just

(They like to) listen to falsehood, to devour anything forbidden. So if they come to you (O Muhammad SAW), either judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they cannot hurt you in the least. And if you judge, judge with justice between them. Verily, Allah loves those who act justly

If thou withdraw from them, then can they have no power to injure thee. But if thou judge, then judge between them with equity. Verily, God loveth those who deal equitably

They avidly listen to lies and avidly devour the unlawful. If they come to you, give them your judgement or avoid them. If you avoid them, they can in no way harm you; but if you do act as their judge, judge them with fairness. God loves those that deal justly

Often listening to the lie, often devouring the illicit gains. So if they come to you then arbitrate between them or turn away from them and if you turn away from them, then they will never harm you in aught but if you arbitrate between them then arbitrate between them with uprightness. Truly Allah loves those who are upright.

They show a keen interest in listening to mendacity and devouring whatsoever is forbidden. So, if it happens that they come to you, then you can judge between them or you can turn away from them. However, if you decided to turn away from them, then they could never harm you at all. Subsequently, if you (decided to) judge, then judge with justice between them. Indeed, Allâh demonstrates His own love for those who treat people fairly and consistently.

They listen to lies and consume bribes, and when they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them, then they will not harm you the least, and if you judge between them, then judge between them with justice, for Allah loves the just.

They listen to lies. They devour anything forbidden [eg, usury]. If they do come to you, either judge among them or refuse them. If you refuse, they will not be able to injure you at all. If you judge, judge fairly among them. Allah loves those who judge fairly.

They are constant listeners to lies; they are constant devourers of illicit earnings. So if they come to you^sg, then judge between them or disregard them. And if you disregard them, then they will not harm you in any way. Yet if you judge, then judge between them justly. Indeed, Allah loves the just^pl.

(They are) listeners to (any) lie, and devour the unlawful; therefore, if they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them; and if you turn away from them, they will harm you nothing; and if you judge, judge between them with equity; verily Allah loves the just

Attentive hearers to falsehood as they are, they are also hungry for ill-gotten gain and for eating people out of their property. Should they come to you seeking your judgement on certain points in dispute or on two notions whether or not they can be reconciled, then you may accept to judge between them or you may decline if you prefer. If you decline, they shall not touch you and you shall be out of harm's way. But should you accept sitting in judgement, then judge between them in equity, for Allah likes those who recourse to general principles of justice

Listeners of falsehood, eaters of the forbidden (things), so if they come to you then judge between them or keep away from them, and if you keep away from them, they can never harm you in any way, and if you judge, then judge between them with justice, Allah certainly loves those who are just.
