ALL FOOD was lawful unto the children of Israel, save what Israel had made unlawful unto itself [by its sinning] before the Torah was bestowed from on high. Say: "Come forward, then, with the Torah and recite it, if what you say is true!"

All food was lawful for the children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful for himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Bring the Torah and read it, if your claims are true.”

All [the] food was lawful for (the) Children (of) Israel except what made unlawful Israel upon himself from before [that] (was) revealed the Taurat. Say, "So bring the Taurat and recite it if you are truthful."

All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel (Jacob) made unlawful for himself, before the Torah (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Torah and study it, if ye be men of truth."

All food was rightly lawful to the Seeds (Or: Sons) of Israel) except what prohibited for himself even before the Tawrah (The Book revealed to Musa: Moses) was being sent down. Say, "So come up with Tawrah, then recite it, in case you are sincere."

All food was lawful for the children of Israel except for what Israel had deemed unlawful for himself before the Torah was revealed. (Muhammad), ask them to bring the Torah and read it, if they are true in their claim (that all food was not unlawful for the children of Israel)

Every (kind of) food was lawful for the children of Isra‘il, except what Isra‘il had made unlawful for himself, well before the Torah was revealed. Say, .Then, bring the Torah and recite it, if you are true

(Jews wonder how certain foods have been declared Permissible in the Qur'an, while they were forbidden for them!) All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Jacob had forbidden for himself before the revelation of the Torah. And there were things that were forbidden to you as a punishment for your transgressions (4:160), (6:147). Say, "Produce the Torah and read it to show what, in the DEEN of Abraham, was contrary to the Qur'an concerning food. Read it unto us if you are truthful."

Every (kind of wholesome) food was (deemed) lawful for the children of Israel, but Israel, (prophet Jacob), forbade himself (certain food on his own) before the Torah was revealed. (Oh Muhammad, SAW), say (to the Jews), "Bring out the Torah, and recite it to us, if you have been truthful."

All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel made unlawful to itself (its people), before the Torah (to Musa) was revealed. Say: "You bring the Torah, and read it, if you are men of truth,"

All food was lawful to the children of Israel except that which Israel (Yaqub) had made unlawful for himself before the Torah was sent down. Say, "Bring the Torah and read it, if you are truthful."
