Today's Ayat for Sunday, 2018-04-01 / 15 Rajab 1439

Is he who prays devoutly to God in the hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing in prayer, who is ever mindful of the life to come and hopes for the mercy of his Lord [like one who does not]? Say, Are those who know equal to those who do not know? Truly, only those endowed with understanding will take heed.

-- az-Zumar 39:9 as rendered by Wahiduddin Khan

IslamAwakened has been asked to add commentary to our Today's Ayat
This is today's comment:

We should ask our Creator, in prayer, for knowledge and guidance. Often.
We also must remember to look for His answers.
Sometimes these answers will be events in our lives, unexpectedly.
Other times the answers will come through other people
... one person's bad experiences may be advice He is passing on to you.

This is an OPINION.
We must always read the verse(s) for ourselves!
