Today's Ayat for Wednesday, 2019-03-27 / 20 Rajab 1440
O YOU who have attained to faith! No men shall deride [other] men: it may well be that those [whom they deride] are better than themselves; and no women [shall deride other] women: it may well be that those [whom they deride] are better than themselves. And neither shall you defame one another, nor insult one another by [opprobrious] epithets: evil is all imputation of iniquity after [one has attained to] faith; and they who [become guilty thereof and] do not repent - it is they, they who are evildoers!
-- al-Hujurat 49:11 as rendered by Muhammad Asad
IslamAwakened has been asked to add commentary to our Today's Ayat
This is today's comment:
The Qur'an tell us that our Creator will judge our actions, our intentions, and our worth
We are not told to take over His role in the latter
Another's actions may require evaluation in many circumstances
We do not have the knowledge or tools to judge that person's path to those actions
This is an OPINION.
We must always read the verse(s) for ourselves!
