| 84:1 | | "When the sky is split apart [on the Day of Resurrection]," |
| 84:2 | | "and listens to (the command of) her Lord, as she must," |
| 84:3 | | "and when the earth is stretched," |
| 84:4 | | "and throws out all that is inside her, becoming empty," |
| 84:5 | | "and listens to (the command of) her Lord, as she must: (then you will realize)." |
| 84:6 | | "O human! Surely you are working toward your Lord with hard labour, but you will meet Him." |
| 84:7 | | "Then, as for the one who is given his book (of deeds) in his right hand," |
| 84:8 | | he will be given an easy reckonin |
| 84:9 | | and he will return to his people in joy |
| 84:10 | | "As for the one who is given his book (of deeds) behind his back," |
| 84:11 | | he will ask to be destroyed (rather than suffer punishment) |
| 84:12 | | but he will burn in a blazing Fire |
| 84:13 | | "Really, he used to go around happily among his people;" |
| 84:14 | | he thought he would never return (to Allah) |
| 84:15 | | "No, never! For his Lord was always watching over him." |
| 84:16 | | "No, but I swear by the glow of the sunset," |
| 84:17 | | "and the night and all that it enfolds," |
| 84:18 | | "and the moon when it is full," |
| 84:19 | | that you shall travel on from stage to stage |
| 84:20 | | "What is the matter with them, that they do not believe?" |
| 84:21 | | "and when the Qur??n is recited to them, they do not fall prostrate?" |
| 84:22 | | "No, but the unbelievers reject (it)" |
| 84:23 | | and Allah knows best what they hide |
| 84:24 | | "So give them good news of a painful punishment," |
| 84:25 | | "except those who believe and do good, for they shall have a reward unending." |
