| 55:1 | | The Most Gracious! |
| 55:2 | | He taught the Qur’an. |
| 55:3 | | He created humanity. |
| 55:4 | | He taught him/her articulate speech. |
| 55:5 | | The sun and the moon follow calculations [of bio-mathematical physics]. |
| 55:6 | | Stars and trees bow [in adoration]. |
| 55:7 | | He lifted the sky, and He formed the balance [using gravity]… |
| 55:8 | | …so that you may not fault in measure. |
| 55:9 | | You must, therefore, establish weight with justice and not fall short in the balance. |
| 55:10 | | He has spread the earth for His creatures. |
| 55:11 | | Therein are fruits and date palms producing clusters. |
| 55:12 | | There is also corn, with husks, and sweet-smelling plants. |
| 55:13 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both [humans and spirit-beings] deny? |
| 55:14 | | He created humanity from sounding clay, similar to pottery. |
| 55:15 | | He created spirit-beings from fire free of smoke. |
| 55:16 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:17 | | He is the Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests. |
| 55:18 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:19 | | He has given freedom to the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together. |
| 55:20 | | A barrier keeps them apart. |
| 55:21 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both [humans and spirit-beings] deny? |
| 55:22 | | Out of (the waters) come pearls and coral. |
| 55:23 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:24 | | He owns the ship sailing smoothly across the sea, [with sails] as lofty as mountains. |
| 55:25 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:26 | | All that is of (Earth) will perish. |
| 55:27 | | But the face of your Lord will abide forever, full of glory and splendor. |
| 55:28 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:29 | | Every creature of the skies and the earth seeks from Him. Every day He appears in splendor. |
| 55:30 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:31 | | Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both worlds [of humans and spirit-beings]. |
| 55:32 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:33 | | O assembly of spirit-beings and humans, if you can pass beyond the zones of skies and earth, pass, but you will not be able to pass without [Our] authorization. |
| 55:34 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:35 | | A flame of fire and smoke will be sent upon you. You will not be able to defend yourselves. |
| 55:36 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:37 | | The sky will be ripped apart and will look like rosy red oil. |
| 55:38 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:39 | | On that day, no question will be asked of a person or a spirit-being about his/her sin. |
| 55:40 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:41 | | The sinners will be known by their marks. They will be seized by their foreheads and their feet. |
| 55:42 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:43 | | This is the Hell that the sinners denied. |
| 55:44 | | They will wander in its midst and in the midst of boiling, scalding water. |
| 55:45 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:46 | | For one who respects the standing before the Lord, there will be two gardens. |
| 55:47 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:48 | | [They will have] widespread branches. |
| 55:49 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:50 | | In them will be two flowing springs. |
| 55:51 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:52 | | In them will be fruits of every kind in pairs. |
| 55:53 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:54 | | They will recline on carpets lined with rich brocade. The fruit of the gardens will be near. |
| 55:55 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:56 | | In (the gardens) will be attendants who are modest in their gaze. No person or spirit-being will have known them before. |
| 55:57 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:58 | | [They will be] like rubies and coral. |
| 55:59 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:60 | | Is there any reward for goodness except goodness? |
| 55:61 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:62 | | In addition to those two [gardens], there will be two other gardens. |
| 55:63 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:64 | | [They will be] dark green in color. |
| 55:65 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:66 | | In them will be two springs gushing forth. |
| 55:67 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:68 | | In them will be fruits, dates, and pomegranates. |
| 55:69 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:70 | | In them will be good and beautiful beings. |
| 55:71 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:72 | | [There will be] modest companions in gazeboes. |
| 55:73 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:74 | | No person or spirit-being will have known them before. |
| 55:75 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:76 | | [They will be] reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. |
| 55:77 | | So, which of the Lord’s favors will you both deny? |
| 55:78 | | Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Bounty! |
