64:1  Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth does celebrate the praises of Allâh and declare His divine glory. Unto Him belongs, the (absolute) sovereignty (of the heavens & of earth). And unto Him belong all the praises and gratitude. Lo! He is capable of doing whatever He wills.

64:2  He is the One who created you. Some of you believe in Allâh while others deny the Truth. Lo! Allâh is All-Seer of all what you do.

64:3  He created the heavens and the earth for a genuine reason, and then shaped you and perfected your shape. To Him is the definitive course.

64:4  He knows perfectly well whatever is in the heavens and on the earth. and He (also) knows perfectly well whatever you divulge and whatever you conceal. Lo! Allâh is All- Aware of what is in the hearts.

64:5  Has there not come to you the news of those who refused to accept Allâh (into their life) aforetime? Thus, they tasted the horrific consequence of their denial. And they will be subjected to a painful punishment (in the ‘Hereafter’).

64:6  That was because their ‘Messengers’ came to them with the full knowledge of the truth, but they persisted in saying unto them: ”Shall we let mortals guide us?” So they refused to accept Allâh (into their life) and took no heed. Lo! Allâh is above all need. Lo! Allâh is Self-sufficient, Worthy of all praise.

64:7  Those who excessively indulge in disbelief (in Allâh) have alleged that they would never be resurrected. Say: “Yes indeed, by my Lord, you will be resurrected, then you will be informed of what you did. Lo! This is an easy task for Allâh to do.

64:8  Therefore, believe in Allâh and His ‘Messenger’, and in the Light, (this Glorious ‘Qur'an’), which We have revealed. Lo! Allâh is All-Aware of what you do.

64:9  The day will come when He gathers you to the day of assembling, that will be a day of mutual disillusion. Whoever believes in Allâh and does righteous acts will be delivered from all the consequences of his sins, and will be admitted into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will abide therein. This is the ultimate success and the supreme one.

64:10  As for those who excessively indulge in disbelief (in Allâh), and give no credence to Our ‘Revelations’ will be the ‘Companions of the Fire’ where they will abide therein. And what a dreadful journey’s end!

64:11  No calamity befalls except by the permission of Allâh. Whoever accepts Allâh (into his life); He will enlighten his heart. Lo! Allâh is the All-Knowing of everything.

64:12  Obey Allâh and the ‘Messenger’! If it happens that you take no heed, (then you’ll need to know that) the only thing is incumbent on Our ‘Messenger’ is to convey the Message clearly.

64:13  Allâh! There is no God but He. Therefore, let the ‘Monotheistic Believers’ depend on Allâh with full trust.

64:14  O’ you who adhere firmly to Islamic Monotheism, among your wives and your children, there are enemies for you. Therefore, beware of them. However, if you pardon, forget, and forgive, then (you’ll need to know that) Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

64:15  Your wealth and your children are only a temptation; but with Allâh is a great reward.

64:16  Thus, act piously towards Allâh as much as you can, listen (attentively) and obey (the ‘Prophet’) and spend (money on charitable activities) for the sake of your own happiness. Whoever is saved from his own avarice, such are the ones who will ultimately achieve a blissful life/or gain eternal salvation.

64:17  If you lend to Allâh a righteous loan, He will double it for you, and forgive you. Allâh is Most Appreciative, Most Forbearing.

64:18  Lo! He is All-Knowing of the unseen and the visible, the All- Mighty, the All-Wise.
