Why, do you deem it strange that a tiding from your Sustainer should have come unto you through a man from among yourselves, so that he might warn you? Do but remember how He made you heirs to Noah's people, and endowed you abundantly with power: remember, then, God's blessings, so that you might attain to a happy state!"

Do you find it astonishing that a reminder should come to you from your Lord through one of your own so he may warn you? Remember that He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you greatly in stature. So remember Allah’s favours, so you may be successful.”

Why are you surprised that your Lord would send you a reminder and a warning through one of your own? Remember how He made you heirs to Noah's people and increased your stature. Remember God's grace so that you might prosper."

awaʿajib'tum an jāakum dhik'run min rabbikum ʿalā rajulin minkum liyundhirakum wa-udh'kurū idh jaʿalakum khulafāa min baʿdi qawmi nūḥin wazādakum fī l-khalqi baṣ'ṭatan fa-udh'kurū ālāa l-lahi laʿallakum tuf'liḥūn

Do you wonder that has come to you a reminder from your Lord on a man among you that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors from after (the) people (of) Nuh, and increased you in the stature extensively. So remember (the) Bounties (of) Allah so that you may succeed."

"Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord through a man of your own people, to warn you? call in remembrance that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah, and gave you a stature tall among the nations. Call in remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from Allah: that so ye may prosper."

Do you find it astonishing that a reminder should come to you from your Lord through one of your own so he may warn you? Remember that He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you greatly in stature. So remember Allah’s favours, so you may be successful.”

And remember when He made you successors after Nuh's people and increased you in excellence in respect of make; therefore remember the benefits of Allah, that you may be successful

Or marveled you that there drew near you a remembrance from your Lord through a man from among you that he may warn you? And remember when He made you viceregents after the folk of Noah and increased you greatly in constitution? Then, remember the benefits of God so that perhaps you will prosper.

Are you surprised that a Reminder from your Lord should come to you through one of your own men, so that He may warn you? Remember when He set you up as overlords following Noah´s folk, and made you grow so very tall. Remember God´s benefits so that you may prosper.

Or do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you to warn you? And remember that He made you successors after people of Noah, and increased you in ample stature. So remember the Bounties of Allah, so that you may succeed.”

Or do you marvel that a reminder from your Lord should come to you by means of a man from among yourselves, so as to warn you? Remember when He made you vicegerents after the people of Noah, and increased you amply in stature. So remember the boons of God, that haply you may prosper.

“Do you find it strange that a message from your Lord has come to you through a man from amongst you, to warn you? Remember, He made you successors after Noah’s people and increased your stature. Remember God’s blessings, so you may thrive.”

'Are you surprised that a reminder has come to you from your Lord, through a man from among you, to warn you? Remember how He made you successors after the people of Noah, and increased you greatly in stature. And remember God's blessings, so that you may prosper.'

And did you wonder that there has come to you Zikr from your Nourisher-Sustainer through an adult male amongst you, so that He may warn you? And bring to mind when He appointed you settling-successors after Nuh’s nation and increased you in stature amply. So bring to mind the graces of Allah, per chance you may attain success.”

Do you wonder that a reminder from your Lord has come to you through one of your own men to warn you? Remember that He made you successors after the people of Noah and gave you a tall stature as compared to other people. Therefore, remember the favors that you have received from Allah, so that you may prosper."

And do you wonder (Literally: have you wondered) that a Remembrance from your Lord has come to you upon a man among you, that he may warn you? And remember when (Literally: as) He made you successors even after the people of Nuh, and increased you sizably (Literally: Outspreading "in stature") in creation. So remember the boons of Allah, that possibly you would prosper."

Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man among you so that He may warn you? Recall when God appointed you as successors of the people of Noah and increased your power over other people. Give thanks to God for His blessings so that perhaps you will have everlasting happiness."

Do you wonder that an advice from your Lord has come to you through a man from among you, so that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of NuH and gave you increased strength in physique. So, be mindful of the bounties of Allah, so that you may be successful

Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, to warn you? Recall that He made you successors to Noah's people and gave you abundant power. Keep in mind Allah's Authority and Blessings that you may continue to prosper."

"Are you surprised that a reminder from your Lord came through a man among you, so he may warn you? Do not forget! After the nation of ´Aad´, He appointed you its successors, and He enhanced you greatly in power and stature. Keep in mind the blessings bestowed upon you by Allah, so that you would prosper."

"Do you wonder that a message from your Lord has come to you, through a man of your own people, to warn you— And remember that He made you successors after the people of Nuh (Noah), and gave you a position high among the nations. So remember the benefits (to you) from Allah: So that you may prosper."

Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you in stature extensively. So remember the favors of Allah that you might succeed

"Are you surprised that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from amongst you to warn you And recall that he made you successors after the people of Noah, and He increased you in status. So recall God's grace, that you may succeed."

Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a Man from amongst you in order that he may warn you? Remember what time He made you successors after the people, of Nuh, and increased you amply in stature Remember the benefits of Allah, that haply ye may fare well

Do you wonder that a warning has come to you from your Lord through a man who is one of you and warns you? Remember, He made you leaders after the people of Noah, and gave you a greater increase in your stature. So think of the favours of God; you may haply be blessed."

Or are you astonished that a reminder should come to you from your Lord by way of a man among you in order to warn you? Remember when He appointed you successors to the people of Nuh, and increased you greatly in stature. Remember Allah´s blessings, so that hopefully you will be successful.´

"Why, do you deem it strange that a reminder (a message and guidance) from your Lord should have come to you through a man from among you that he may warn you (against the consequences of your way)? Remember and be mindful that He has made you successors (on the earth) after Noah’s people and increased you in stature and power. Remember and be mindful, then, of God’s bounties, that you may prosper (in both worlds, and attain your goals)."

Do you consider it odd that there should come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among yourselves, so that he may warn you? Remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah, and increased you vastly in creation. So remember Allah’s bounties so that you may be felicitous.’

Marvel you then that there comes to you a Reminder from your Lord by a man from amongst you, to warn you? Remember when He made you vicegerents (or inheritors) after Noah´s people, and gave you growth of stature (prosperity, honour, excellence). Re

or are you surprised that a reminder from your Lord has come to you, by a man from among you, to warn you? And remember when He made you successors after people of Noah and increased your stature in the creation. Remember God’s favors so you may be successful.”

“Do you wonder how there has come to you a message from your Lord through a person of your own people, to warn you? Call to mind that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah, and gave you great stature among the nations. Call to mind the benefits from God, that you may flourish.

Are you surprised that a reminder should come to you to warn you from your Lord through one of your men? Remember what happened to the people of Nuh, He made you their successors and made your body strong. So remember Allah’s gifts, and you will be successful.”

Do you wonder that an exhortation should come to you from your Lord through a man from amongst yourselves that he may warn you? And do call to mind when He made you successors after the people of Noah and amply increased you in stature. Remember then the wondrous bounties of Allah, that you may prosper.´

"Are you surprised that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you to warn you? And remember that He made you successors after the people of Noah, and He increased you in status. So remember the grace of God, that you may succeed."

"Does it surprise you that a Reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man, from amongst you, so that he may warn you? And remember when He made you His vicegerentsh on earth after Noah's people and made you excel in construction activity. So remember Allah's Graces so that you may succeed."

And have this surprised you that an admonition has come to you from your Lord through a man from amongst you, so that he may warn you? And remember when He appointed you as successors of the people of Huh and increased the stature of your body; then remember the bounties of Allah that haply you may fare well.

"Is it too much of a wonder that a message should come to you from your Lord, through a man like you, to warn you? Recall that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah, and multiplied your number. Remember GOD's blessings, that you may succeed."

Do you wonder that a remembrance should come to you from your Lord to a man from yourselves in order that he may warn you? Remember, that He has made you the heirs of Noah's nation and increased you in broad stature, remember the favors of Allah in order that you prosper!

Do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after Noah’s people and increased you in excellence of make. So remember the bounties of Allah, that you may be successful

Are you astonished/surprised , that a reminder came to you from your Lord on a man from you to warn/give you notice, and remember when He made/put you (as) successors and replacers/top leaders from after Noah's nation, and He increased you in the creation's expansion/abundance/wealth , so remember God's blessings, maybe/ perhaps you succeed/win

"What is so strange about the Lord's warnings being relayed to you through a person chosen from among yourselves? Do not forget that, after the people of Noah, you are the ones that God gave the superiority to represent Him on earth. Be grateful to what God has showered you with so that you may succeed."

"And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you? Remember when He made you the successors of Nooh’s people, and enlarged your bodies; therefore remember Allah’s favours, so that you may attain good."

`Do you wonder that an exhortation has come to you from your Lord through a man from among yourselves, that he may warn you? And remember the time when HE made you heirs to HIS favours after the people of Noah and increasingly endowed you with great physical strength. Remember, then, the favours of ALLAH, that you may prosper.

Do you wonder that direction and guidance from your Lord has come (on the tongue) of a man from amongst yourselves so that he may warn you (of the chastisement of Allah)? And call to mind when He made you the successors (in the land) after the people of Nuh (Noah) and in raising you amply augmented your power (might and stature). So remember the favours of Allah so that you may prosper.

`Do you wonder that an exhortation, leading to eminence and honour, should come to you from your Lord, through a man from among you so that he may warn you? Remember (His favour) when He made you (- the Adites) rulers after the people of Noah and increased you vastly in respect of (your bodily) constitution (by making you stout and strong and tall), remember then the favours of Allah so that you may attain the goal.

"Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder (and an advice) from your Lord through a man from amongst you that he may warn you? And remember that He made you successors after the people of Nooh (Noah), and increased you amply in stature. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allah, so that you may be successful."

What, do you wonder that a reminder from your Lord should come to you by the lips of a man from among you? That he may warn you; and remember when He appointed you as successors after the people of Noah, and increased you in stature broadly; remember God's bounties; haply you will prosper.

Do ye wonder that an admonition hath come unto you from your Lord, by a man from among you, that he may warn you? Call to mind how He hath appointed you successors unto the people of Noah, and hath added unto you in stature largely. Remember the benefits of God, that ye may prosper

What! do ye then wonder that there comes to you a reminder from your Lord by a man from amongst yourselves, to warn you? remember when He made you vicegerents after Noah's people and increased you in length of stature; remember, then, the benefits of God,- haply ye may prosper!

Marvel ye that a warning hath come to you from your Lord through one of yourselves that He may warn you? Remember how he hath made you the successors of the people of Noah, and increased you in tallness of stature. Remember then the favours of God, that it may haply be well with you."

Do you think it strange that an Admonition has come to you from your Lord through a mortal from among yourselves to warn you? Remember that He has made you the heirs of Noah‘s people and gave you greater power than He did to other creatures. Remember God‘s favours, that you may thrive.‘

Are you astonished that remembrance has come on to you from your Lord upon a man from among you so that he may warn you. And remember when He appointed you as vicegerents after the people of Noah and He increased you prodigiously in your physical form. Therefore remember the bounties of Allah so that perhaps you may prosper.”

Then do you wonder that an admonition has come to you from your Lord through a man of your own race in order to warn you? Remember when He has appointed you successors to the people of Noah, and increased you in stature extensively. So recall the blessings of Allâh so that you may achieve eternal salvation.”

Or are you astonished that a reminder reaches you from your Lord through a man from amongst you? Remember when He made you successors after the people of Nuh (Noah) and He made you very tall in creation, so remember the blessings of Allah in order to succeed.

Do you wonder about a message to you from your Lord through a man of your own people? Remember that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah and gave you prestige among nations. Remember the blessings from Allah so you may prosper.”

Are you amazed that a reminder has come to you from your Lord upon a man from among you, to warn you? And call to mind when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you greatly in stature, and remember Allah’s blessings, that you may succeed.”

Are you surprised that a Reminder from your Lord should come to you through one of your own men, so that He may warn you? Remember when He set you up as overlords following Noah's folk, and made you grow so very tall. Remember Allah (God)'s benefits so that you may prosper.

“Are you wondering that a reminder has come to you from your Lord, on a man from among you, to warn you? And remember when He set up you as successors after Noah’s kinfolk and increased you in the creation, an extension. So, remember Allah’s marvels, perhaps you might be gaining.”

Do you think it strange that a reminder from your Lord should come to you through a man from among yourselves, so that he might warn you? Do but remember that He has made you successors of Noah's people, and given you a larger stature than other people. Remember, then, God's favours so that you may attain success.”

“Are you surprised that a man among you has been advised by your Rabb to warn you? Remember, think! He appointed you vicegerents after the people of Noah and increased you extensively in stature and provisions... Remember and evaluate the blessings of Allah so that you may be liberated.”

What ! do you wonder that an admonition has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you ? And remember when He made you successors after Noah's people, and increased you in stature. Therefore, remember the bounties of Allah so that you may be prosperous

"Do you people consider it exceptional to a degree that excites astonishment that Allah sends to you illumination and enlightenment at the hands of a man from your midst in the capacity of a spectacle and a warning to guide you into all truth! " "You had better recall to mind his favours and impel yourselves to the feeling of gratitude for the efficacious grace He conferred on you; He made you the inheritors of the people of Nuh and imparted to you a wealth of knowledge, and privileged you with a distinguished stature more than He graced other nations". Therefore, remember with gratitude and humility the privileges He bestowed on you so that Heaven may prosper you"

What ! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Fosterer through a man from among you that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Nuh and caused you to grow into an extensive creation (nation), so remember the bounties of Allah that you may be successful."

"Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord through a man of your own people, to warn you? call in remembrance that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah, and gave you a stature tall among the nations. Call in remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from God: that so ye may prosper."
