7:204 واذا قريء القران فاستمعوا له وانصتوا لعلكم ترحمون


TransliterationWa-itha quri-a alqur-anu faistamiAAoo lahu waansitoo laAAallakum turhamoona
LiteralAnd if the Koran is read, so hear/listen to it and listen quietly, maybe/perhaps We have mercy upon you.

Yusuf AliWhen the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.
PickthalAnd when the Qur'an is recited, give ear to it and pay heed, that ye may obtain mercy.
Arberry And when the Koran is recited, give you ear to it and be silent; haply so you will find mercy.
