AND LO! We did accept a solemn pledge from all the prophets from thee, [O Muhammad,] as well as from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary -: for We accepted a most weighty, solemn pledge from [all of] them,
And when We exacted a covenant from the prophets, and from thee (O Muhammad) and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary. We took from them a solemn covenant;
And when We made a covenant with the prophets and with you, and with Nuh and Ibrahim and Musa and Isa, son of Marium, and We made with them a strong covenant
And remember We took from the prophets their covenant: As (We did) from thee: from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn covenant:
And remember We took from the prophets their covenant: As (We did) from thee: from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn covenant:
Mention when We took a solemn promise from the Prophets and from thee and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary. We took an earnest solemn promise from them
We entered into a covenant with each of the prophets of the past to fulfill the duty entrusted to them by Allah just as We entered into a covenant with you and with Nuh (Noah), with Ibrahim (Abraham) and with Mussa (Moses) and with 'Isa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), and We bound them to a solemn and serious covenant,
And when We took from the prophets their covenant. And from you, and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary; We took from them a strong covenant.
We took a solemn pledge from the prophets- from you [Muhammad], from Noah, from Abraham, from Moses, from Jesus, son of Mary- We took a solemn pledge from all of them:
And recall what time We took a bond from the prophets and from thee and from Nuh and Ibrahim and Musa and 'Isa son of Maryam. And We took from them a solemn bond;
When We made a covenant with all the Prophets — with you and with Nuh and Ibrahim and Musa and ´Isa son of Maryam — We made a binding covenant with them,
And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their covenant, and from you (O Muhammad), and from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus son of Mary. We took from them a solemn covenant
[Recall] when We took a pledge from the prophets, and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary, and We took from them a solemn pledge,
And when We made a covenant with the prophets and with you (Muhammad), and with Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, son of Mary, We made with them a strong (solemn) covenant,
And as We took from the Prophets their Compact and from you and from Nuh, and Ibrahim, and Musa, and Isa son of Maryam. (Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus of Mary respectively) And We took from them a solemn compact.
And (recall) when We took from the prophets their covenant, and from you and from NuH and Ibrahim and Musa and ‘Isa, the son of Maryam, and We did take from them a firm covenant,
And, behold, We did take a pledge from all the Prophets - from you (O Prophet) as well as from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus son of Mary - We took a very solemn pledge from all of them.
And remember that from the prophets, We took their truest Covenant (their Promise) as (We took, O Prophet!) from you: From Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), and Isa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary). From them, We took a strong Covenant:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.
O Muhammad, remember the Covenant which We took from all the Prophets - from you as well as from Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus son of Mary - We took that solemn Covenant from all of them,

Remember the solemn promise that you (Mohammad), Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus (son of Mary) and all other prophets made to Me; a very solid promise [to be the first to follow the revealed orders of God, to relay their revelations to the others, to show no laxity in the struggle to enforce them, etc.]
